It didn't quite go according to plan, but we got there and we've officially moved in!
AD | How amazing does our new wooden floor and carpet from Tapi look?! Honestly, when we first moved into this place, these were the rooms I was most worried about. The stairs (and while still very much a work in progress) are such a lovely original feature, and the carpet runner really highlights them. The green room used to be a box room with a tiny bathroom attached, and when we changed the layout, it spent month with no floor at all, and the utility was a very old, very poorly considered kitchen, and during the building work, was a complete mess because we moved the boiler into it, so it had to be ripped apart! But now it's a functional space in a funky colour and actual floor!
As this is our forever home, we’re putting real thought into every detail, and getting the floors right was a big one for us.
