MrThunderwing | I NEED YOUR OPINION! DOES THIS LOOKS 60FPS TO YOU??? @MrThunderwing | Uploaded November 2023 | Updated October 2024, 6 hours ago.
EDITED: I'VE SORTED IT! MANAGED TO GET IT TO PRODUCE A SIKLY SMOOTH 4K _REAL_ 60FPS VIDEO NOW:* youtu.be/HyYC8jpjgq4?si=OkaCa4yO04YV8y2l
(Original Description)
I need your eyes! After upgrading to Windows 10 recently, I decided it was time I finally upgraded my video editing software too and I changed from Powerdirector 14 (8 years old) to the most recent version - PD2024. The videos I'm producing with it are supposed to be 60fps.
If I right click on the properties of a produced video, then go to 'details' it tells me it's 60fps. Once uploaded to YouTube it's displaying as a 60fps video. But my eyes are telling me a different story, it looks more like it's running at 30fps. If I go back and watch old videos I created with PD14, with an identical profile in the video properties, the difference in smoothness is obvious, just to the naked eye. Same if I look at the raw original video file - I'm going to upload it and keep it as an unlisted video here you can compare it to:

It's not just me is it? The frame rate has definitely been jank-ified in this video compared to the raw video, right? Even though YouTube is saying this is 60FPS?
Please let me know in the comments I'm not going bonkers and seeing stuff.
