On July 2, 2026, I lost my dad, Bill Lutz. I needed to step away from Pokémon GO, YouTube and creating content to spend time with my family and begin processing one of the most difficult losses of my life.
Getting back to feeling like myself and returning to something I've done for so many years has been a challenge. This is the first video I've made where I'm ready to share some of what happened, where I've been and what the last several weeks have been like.
More importantly, I wanted to share a little bit about who my dad was.
Included in this video is the tribute I gave to my dad, Bill Lutz, at his Celebration of Life. He had an enormous impact on the person I became, and I wanted to preserve and share those words here.
Pokémon GO and The Trainer Club have been such a huge part of my life for the past decade. Coming back to the game and YouTube feels different now, but I'm ready to begin that journey.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out, supported me, or simply wondered where I've been. It means more than I can put into words.
