Cycling the world - Asia: episode 43
I leave Salalah behind and continue along the Omani coast, dodging rainstorms, flooded tracks and endless mud after days of heavy rain. What starts as a simple ride quickly turns into a battle against the weather and a much bigger problem: my sleeping pad is failing. Night after night I wake up on the ground as the leak gets worse, while storms repeatedly force me to seek shelter under bridges and in small coastal villages. Between camels, fishing ports and unexpected campsites, I push south through Oman hoping to solve the problem before exhaustion catches up with me.
