The PlayStation Store on PS5 has had a serious problem for the last year or two. Shovelware games have been flooding the store and clogging up all the valuable space on the UI. What's worse is that a lot of these games are using AI generated images that often creates very misleading key art, and in some cases even misleading screenshots on the product listing. Today we're checking in on the status of these games on the PS Store, and also talking about another new trend that's popping up. Shell games that offer virtually nothing, just so they can sell you a collection of premium avatars. This is a weird timeline that we're in. Get me outta here. *Runs into wall* That didn't work.
