Can't believe I've only been with this horse 4 months. It feels like a lifetime. He's one of my best friends honestly, even though things are difficult sometimes. He frustrates me often and we have a lot of bad days and rides where everything feels impossible. But I know we can make it. He has so much heart, soul, and talent. I'm just learning how to accept his big personality and opinions and all that he is.
This song has a special place in my heart and I know the quote is silly but it really resonated with me. I find all my lease horses on Craigslist and I'm so thankful he was the one that ended up being mine. As you can see we've also been jumping more and he's been an absolute star.
I'm so excited for all that we'll accomplish, no matter how hard it gets.

My new lease horse, Willow!
Hes a 15 year old Arabian, and hopefully soon to be my little jumper! He and I will be working with a trainer every week to work him up to jumps and hopefully we can show a bit in the future too!
This was only our third ride so please no critique, Im not used to riding hot horses but hes such a sweetheart and I think hes the perfect step up for me. Im really excited for our journey, and its funny to me how much he looks like Blackjack. :)")
