Mazrim
Took me ages to get this =s, a very very useful item as you can see in the video, brings number of times you can use uni to 4 (nearly) and number of mino scrolls to 15 (instead of only 10).

- Annie has 625 auto range, take attack speed and ms rune shards and auto people while being out of range
- If someone autos you back, use e shield to proc DFT, sorch and the damage+shield. The shield also procs rylais and realmspike, very annoying.
- DFT and malignance makes annie a high damage low econ threat, that bear will walk around and do more damage than half the champs in the game at that 1st item powerspike.
Been awhile since my last post, not had a lot of time for video making. Might make a short series out of playing janna soloq while smurfing because people said they didn't see any of this content from the support role
Every server has by far the most Junglers in high elo, along with Junglers having the highest LP. In Challenger there are 153 Junglers vs 93 Supports.
NA high elo plays twice as much ARAM as EUW .
NA has the most 1 tricks, at 175 played in GM+ being 1 tricks.
One player in Korea grandmaster has 1200 games played already
A Chinese player on EUW has an insane 82.2% win rate at 646LP
EUW - 616 flash on D, 335 flash on F
KR - 348 flash on D, 607 flash on F
ust thinking through what you are doing not just autopiloting back to botlane.
This is not meant to be a perfect game or anything I made a bunch of mistakes, but the point is I wanted to show what you can do on a champion lots of people consider "low impact" often due to the playstyles of the average player on the champion in their elo rather than the champion itself.
Specifically I recommend watching how I play the very early laning out most of all for a beginning part if anyone wants to shift their playstyle.
I go into more detail in the video but as a tl;dr her q now goes ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.
This then procs glacial augument for 50-95% slow (depending on your items). Also remember glacial gives damage reduction, so the peel, shields and straight number debuffs you have to fight through to kill the carries with a Janna gets extremely hard.
1 - Her e now gives 20% heal and shield power for ccing or slowing someone, glacial gives 9% slow power for each 10% heal/shield power
2- Her q is so fast it honestly seems bugged, like tapping it is almost as fast as a fully charged old q. I cannot express how broken this is, you can't avoid the knockup without a dash if you are not at like 450 ms (and impossible if janna has w'd you).
3 - She has a ton more power in shields, moonstone is a much better choice on her now but people are still all going shurelias/mandate.
lolalytics.com/lol/janna/build Her glacial build is pushing up to 58% win rate.
The first strike rune is looking to be extremely good on assassins, it both provides upfront damage similar to execute, but also a good influx of gold.
Why rengar?
Rengar's trade pattern is entirely upfront burst, you can fit in his entire combo during the first strike active period. He also is almost always going to be the one engaging as he jumps from a bush or stealth.
First strike also provides comparable damage to electrocute on rengar because its all so fast, compared to say talon or zed taking first strike they would never proc their full combo during the active time.
Why Toplane?
More chances to stack the rune basically, toplane also provides more income so rengar can play either with crit or a bruiser built, whereas jungle often is forced into lethality items as they are cheaper to start doing damage on the lower income.
Is this actually good?
Maybe, rengar top was already pretty good and this seems like a large buff. Rengar top is still overall pretty cheesy and has some unplayable matchups though.

Video example game as well as in more depth explanation talked through.
To get straight into it - Don't start the support item start cloth + 4 potions. You are trying to force extreme trades and all ins as soon as possible into the game, baiting people to overextend to try kill the normally squishy support is the goal.
The overall goal of this build is trading in a minor delay on support item quest (you will buy it asap later on) for a huge increase in laning power.
Riot made me do this :( , you can only get 1000 gold from the support item overall anyway so who cares if you get it slightly later.
**Runes**
- Guardian, font of life, bone plating, revitalise
- Time warp tonic, total biscuits
**Summoners**
Flash + Barrier.
Flash + heal occasionally if your adc really insists on going exhaust or cleanse, but just be aware this MASSIVELY reduces your tankyness if you get ignited.
**Rest of build**
Nothing too exciting here except you want to turn that cloth armor into tabi, after that get moonstone and redemption or moonstone and chemtech putrifier.
**Does this work on other champions?**
I think very few supports get sufficient benefit from the cloth armor to justify this, soraka is pretty unique with her q to be insanely tanky levels 1-3. (try to avoid putting a point in w until lv 4, level up q 3 points before maxing w rest of game).
In theory this might work nicely on maybe nami or lulu into extremely aggressive lanes? But both of those champions have higher mana costs and the support item giving mana is more important. Soraka q mana cost is very low for the value it gives as long as you hit it!
**What if I die and don't get to the support item for ages?**
Don't do that.
Aphelios top was a very niche thing mostly in high elo KR soloq for awhile now, but hullbreaker and tier 2 towers giving more gold have been pushing it into wider viability.
What? Why?
Do you like bullying melee toplaners? Or even traditional ranged ones? Aphelios both wins 1v1 early lane and outscales most toplaners (provided have the correct guns for the 1v1, don't take purple/green gun combo into an all in with a brusier).
Aphelios has one of the fastest tower taking abilities in the game, white gun can probably take a tower faster than fiora
Surely you get camped
Yes, however mr 200 years is bringing those years to players who are not as familiar with them, you can turn 1v2s if you have the red-white gun vs even incredibly strong early game top/jungle duos, or at least scare them off.
Why is this better than other range tops
This is not a cheese pick like vayne top in that you just want to abuse range autos and if you die once you are just going to chain int to the bruisers, you are playing aphelios like you would tryndamere, zero fear of taking any 1v1s and attempting to just throw yourself down a lane to make pressure.
Why Hullbreaker
This item is just absurdly stat efficient, the shieldbow-hullbreaker combo makes aphelios absurdly tanky, it gives large amounts of hp plus resists. Lethality and magic pen will be basically negatived by the passive. Fundamentally if you cannot burst aphelios down he will utterly destroy you most of the time with his crazy dps, and this build attempts to remove his weakness.
Weaknesses of this build
Guns gun guns , you have to manage them, you have a terrible 1v1 with certain combinations, balance your available guns with how daring you are going to be with splitting, if you have red-white you want to draw people to you.
Extreme scaling toplaners - Remember I said "most", a few champions like tryndamere, jax and kayle are probably to going just continue smashing your face in if you fall behind. You can probably match fiora/riven lategame but it isn't going to be easy.
I am not going to go into many anivia specific tops here like wall placement but highlight why she is now a good support. Previous to this patch a few dedicated anivia players already played her in the role to mixed success (up to grandmaster in some cases) but I always wrote it off as a love of anivia getting those ranks despite not because of the pick.
Anivia however in 10.25 had three big changes for support, her other good highlights such as crazy damage and teamfight zone control are not changed so I will not cover them as much.
- Q speed, q go zoooooooooooooooom. It is now a pick tool you cannot dodge with base movement speed and accurate placement, turning an unreliable missile that you needed to work with wall/slows into a free thrown one shot nuke. Anivia q-e combo will almost guarantee kills or flashes in early laning.
- Auto attack speed - Anivia previously had such a bad auto attack the wind up was slow to the point of rooting yourself as a target for skillshots especially in botlane.
- Mana reliance changes, not quite only in 10.25 but anivia can now function in the support role without a mana item like roa or tear, trying to get these on a support budget was always somewhat trolling. With POM and imperial mandate you face little mana issues outside of over use of ult. Anivia support does not need to wave clear, anivia mid was given a load of compensation to work around worse mana items that support anivia never needed anyway.
For build and runes it is fairly flexible but you want to go mandate and take electrocute with POM secondary, rest are personal preference.
For the future on anivia support be careful to watch how riot nerfs her, the biggest changes on q speed and auto speed they are unlikely to change, leaving anivia in a good spot for support still.
I have made a video below summarising the above points as well as showing off a full example game in d3, I have been having decent success with the pick so far especially given I only recently picked the champ up.
Selection is fairly small for now, if I get a few sales going will expand :), let me know if there is something specific from osrs would be cool to see printed.
I am not saying the time spent was not fun, I had some good escapes, interesting drops and did some questing/pvm.
What I could not do though, was compete in pvp in any way.
Do not get me wrong, I can pk, I could probably stand my own easily with the same gear and stats . I am also not discouraghed or rage quit because of deaths, its part of the mode and I rebuilt multiple times over the DMM so far.
2 days 16 hours in 6 days realtime is just far far too low to have had a hope to compete solo. I did everything as efficiently as I could, I have a 2.1k total ironman and know my way around the game starting out, I also had a mule I was constantly flipping on (3m bank, flipped from 100kish start)
And the mode is snowbally, I can't ever catch up to the people now busy grinding raids and GWD, when I finally catch up with 94 mage 99 str, no one is going to die to a veng-gmaul or something. So ultimately in a pvp mode, I never got to pvp fairly because I did not swap gold or grind enough.
If I had been willing to swap over around 100m osrs now, I could buy mid tier pvp gear (barrows, vls) and probably get back in the game after another 24 hours hardcore grinding.
I think people just need to accept this "buy-in" cost if they want to play without playing 18 hours a day in a group, I could get that money with some easy zulrahing no problem faster than earning it in dmm.
I would also like a new permanent deadman world with the GE available from the start and all the mechanics of the current seasonal, at least if the mode is permanent I don't need to accept my grind is being deleted at end of month, and can take my time to get to endgame.
tl;dr - I could never suggest playing DMM to a newer or even not super hardcore player, you either need to be in a clan, or be ready to not sleep for a week straight (plus swap some gp) to play deadman mode. This isn't a bad thing, but I am going to stick to watching people in future.
got a black pick to dab on people with, someone also got a pet
Anyway, statue is awesome and pretty good value for money if you like that sort of thing
Keep black lights away from 2nd hand statues

The premise of it is very simple, you level up Jarvan's e first and buy early AP items.
* J4 has an 80% ap ratio on his flag, with the ap support item his poke actually outdamages brand, with a lower cast time and longer range, he is just an insane lane bully into the right matchups
* It is still j4, there is a reason this guy pops up in the jungle all the time as a tank, his base damages are strong, and his utility in locking down especially immobile carries is incredible. A jinx pick into j4 supp is going to have zero fun, being poked out early game then getting slammed into a cataclysm and collasped on later.
* The hourglass into tank build lets you function as tank j4 on a budget build, use your combo, proc your passive then use the active while your team follows up
* Aery flag proc will spam shield your team. I PUT OUT AS MUCH SHIELDS AS A JANNA IN THE VIDEO LINKED, true a lot of these go unused with aery spam, but around objectives and in team fights, it is a fairly invisible bonus to your team
* Flag gives 30% attack speed to entire team at max rank lol, this is a rapidfire cannon worth of AS stats to everyone just for existing. This is great for objectives especially early towers.
Now the downsides
* You have to throw your mobility tool and cc out in lane and are pushing, you are easier than a brand/zyra to chain gank
* If you fall behind you are just going to die while trying to engage, fairly standard for tank supports here though.
* flag is actually quite hard to land with a small hitbox, git gud sorry
* If enemy is very mobile your ult becomes a bit useless, maybe not blind pick worthy
This pick is a ton of fun and can really punish a lot of meta picks right now, it does take a bit of practise to work with effectively but can end games very early if you get the poke going and towers to fall down
Conqueror has been waiting for an AP user to abuse this, and I think Kat is one of the primary candidates, she gets to keep the full 8 second buff/reset window (suspect this may be nerfed) as she is melee, and she makes very good use of all of its aspects.
So why Conqueror?
* Other rune choices suck, electrocute is taken but this is super nerfed and hard to proc off cooldown on kat
* Conq gives AD/AP stacking up to 5 times, this is just really high value with Kat's high ratios and she has no problem stacking it up quickly, snowballs extremely hard if resets start to go off, the true damage and healing is all just really good value
* Better all in with the death dance build as a bruiser type while keeping the burst, much better 1v1 build
Why Death Dance?
* Passive Stacks with gunblade! You can expect full hp heals from dagger procs or gunblade active, crazy along with rav hunter on top as well
* Simple damage calculations, Kat has VERY high AD ratios and easily puts out the most damage with abilities even if you can't auto people with this 2 item spike
* Lets Kat stay close combat 1v1 with many champions, gunblade-DD is still AD items at the end of the day, and if a tank wants to stay in your face you will just auto attack them to death
Problems with build
* DD is pricy, at 500 more gold than morrellos. I consider this a worth trade off though, death dances build path is nice (better than oblivion orb or trying to put together an hourglass)
* Weaker lane quick trades with no elec, this honestly is not that much of an impact and a good trade off
* Late game deathcap isn't quite as good an item, deathcap is somewhat of a luxury item on kat in the first place though and you can pick up another defensive item like veil and still be doing amazing lategame damage because you have the raw stats and resets to not need a deathcap
Why does it work:
* You get a bounty for having a cs lead over your opponent, if you don't cs your lane opponent will quickly pick up large shut down bounties regardless of gold difference just because of the cs number different.
* With frostfang and klepto procs you roughly keep up in gold vs csing, while not adding to a bounty. You also get a 2nd support sightstone item on team, this is really useful amounts of extra vision for your team (pro players always used to buy sightstones)
* Lane will always be pushing to you, you are not hitting minions so wave will perma freeze outside your turret, easy set up for ganks plus keeps your opponent losing some minions as well.
* You can start csing normally after support item is done with no penalty, allowing for greatly increased gold income throughout the game
So who are the best abusers:
* Karma - Always been a good solo laner in top, hard to gank and preduces a huge amount of pressure
* Zilean - Just a very strong champion to have on team with solo lane income/xp, has no problems clearing waves after frostfang is done
* Sona - Very good at procing klepto with her q-autos, bullies people out lane hard. SCALES REALLY WELL, this may be the best soloq klepto abuser as getting sona solo lane xp is insanely broken as her level 6 and 11 passives are super strong. Can buy sheen to make opponent hate their life even more.
* Gangplank - not a support obviously, lets gp safely stay under turret and you start csing normally of course after frostfang done which often works out nicely around q max trinity time.
Q: this isn't runescape
A: no shit
Q: Why isn't this runescape
A: Because I am not playing it much right now, you really dont wanna see farm tree runs on my ironman or random item flipping updates.
