Today we are repairing the frame and body on a Jeep Wrangler that was wrecked in the front left corner and has some minor frame damage as well as suspension and body damage. The frame rails were off by about two inches, and the driver's side had a large dent, which needed to be repaired as the rail is visible through the wheel well. I pulled the rails straight and cut out the damaged section of the rail. Using the same gauge steel, I replaced the dented area and also installed some gussets for added strength.

What’s up guys and welcome back to the channel and today’s video we begin rebuilding the 2022 ram 2500 that was crashed in the right rear corner and needs a new frame section. We acquired an entire frame section from a friend and begin by stripping away all the parts and wires to expose the bare frame. The frame is sectioned from the factory in multiple spots and we will be using one of the sections towards the back of the cab to cut in our new frame end. The goal for this video is to have the frame cut in half and ready for the donor part to be installed.

"Jolene" is a Lexus is350 that has been modified into a rally race car and is owned by River City Rally right here in our very own Chattanooga, Tennessee. Built right here in our hometown, this is the worlds first Lexus is350 Gravel Rally Car and the guys at RCR did an amazing job building everything from the roll cage down to the skid plate. With Caleb Dewind as crew chief, Richo Healey of the United Kingdom behind the wheel and beside him his navigator Michelle Miller of the USA, Jolene has brought home the First place prize in the 2024 ARA Two Wheel Drive Light Division! We are proud to be a part of this exciting journey and are looking forward to seeing the upcoming races! But since one national rally race championship is just not enough, The team is also leading the open two wheel drive championship in a second rally car and looks to be unstoppable at this point. Repairing a rally race car is a first for me and i was surprised by how strong the roll cage actually was, even with 15 tons of hydraulic ram pressure that door post just did not want to move. This is a testament of the team's dedication to safety and the skills that it takes to build a safe rally race car. Since the door post was more twisted than it was smashed in, I ended up creating my own pulling clamps and using some old Toyota hinges to pull the door post out and align the rear door. The rocker was no issue as there was a jack point conveniently located where the impacted took place, i simply welded a tow hook to the end of the pin hole and used it to pull the frame out as much as i could before it started to tear. With the doors lined up and the rocker back on Jolene is ready to hit the gravel and kick butt in every future rally race she participates in.

Fixing A Smashed Dodge Charger: Before And After Transformation!

23rd Garage 2024-10-06 | Welcome to 23RD Garage, in today's video we will be repairing the frame on a Wrecked Dodge Charger. This Charger was involved in a rear end collision and sustained very heavy damage to the left rear frame rail. I started by pulling out the frame rail itself and replaced a few skin sections with some new steel that i purchased from the guys over at "The Steel Store", if you ever need any raw steel materials they are a great place to start looking. thesteelstore.com/index.html

The next step was to repair the rear wall and also fabricate a new pan for the left side floor pan of the trunk, I did this by hand and it turned out really nice. I was fortunate to not have to do any bodywork and was able to get the entire job complete in just a couple of days.

It’s a 2015 GMC Sierra and it’s very nice with very minimum damage to the body has a beautiful interior and is already lifted on a rough country lift suspension along with some really nice fuel off-road road Paul purchased this truck from Copart and it had no ignition because the shop that worked on it before had taken everything apart. They started to remove the cab and for one reason or another. The insurance decided to total the truck so we got the truck not running no ignition did not know how many miles it had or it it even ran at all, but we spent about it and we got it run and ordered all the parts for it and are ready to rebuild it back to how it was.

My Fully Built Transmission Tried to Give up & My Steering went out!

23rd Garage 2024-09-02 | What’s up guys, and welcome back to the channel in today’s video, Ido a little bit of service work on my 2013 Ram 2500 Mega Cab. I had the transmission rebuilt back in 2018, and I went for everything—all-out billet internals with a triple-disc upgraded torque converter, a shift kit, and every part I could possibly think of. I never expected it to go out randomly so soon and was afraid I would have to spend another $8000. It turns out it was a much simpler problem than a bad transmission. It was just a screw-on filter that came apart inside the oil pan, and I lost fluid pressure. I replaced the screw-on filter, upgraded with a stainless steel thread insert and the pick-up filter, as well as the oil pan gasket, and also went ahead and replaced all the sensors and deleted the thermostatic temperature controller. If your 68RFE transmission stops working, do not take it to a mechanic right away. First, drop the oil pan and make sure that the screw-on filter is intact as well as the pickup filter. This is a very simple problem but could be a larger problem if you do not take care of it. I also had to replace the front drag link as the oversize tires have been very hard on all the ball joints, and it’s a good thing I have a lifetime warranty on a Moog drag link. I was able to replace it and align everything myself with strings, and the truck drives perfectly.

23rd Garage 2024-08-21 | Welcome back friends, in today’s video we rebuild Paul’s new toy, it’s a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Edition and it’s in excellent condition. The Jeep was involved in a front end collision and sustained damage to the front axle and frame rails. Both control arm brackets needed to be replaced and the frame need to be pulled over to the left. In this video we show you how to remove the control arm brackets from the Dana 35 axle and how to weld them back on and make sure the axle sits right. We also will be installing Rough Country front and rear bumpers as well as shocks and hood struts. We upgrade a Chevy Silverado & Ford Econoline But Get Stumped on the BMW.

23rd Garage 2024-08-13 | Welcome to 23rd garage and today's video we are going to be working on three different vehicles, we get busy around the shop and I decided to film some of the smaller projects. The first vehicle is a 2021 Chevrolet pickup truck, the customer wanted chrome bumpers and chrome grill installed. We removed his original bumpers and swapped them out with some really nice chrome bumpers, we also installed a chrome grille and gave the truck a much higher end look. The second vehicle is a 2013 Ford Econoline van, customer states air conditioning only worked for a few minutes after fresh charge and then stop, we determined the condenser unit was leaking and have ordered a new one. Customer also wanted to upgrade from the old 2013 headlights to the new and improved 2014 and up style. We installed some brand new headlights and added some led bulbs since he also didn't want yellow light. We also ordered a chrome grille and bumper to update the front end.

The third Vehicle is a 2018 BMW 328d with adaptive headlights issue, the previous shop could not program the adaptive led head lights and neither could the dealer, we found a fuse missing and coded the lights with no issue but they turn on only for a few minutes and then go out. We replaced all the modules and have swapped everything besides the headlight shell. The headlights code and program no problem but throw codes for internal temp sensor and resister 5 as well as voltage out of range on high beam. We have concluded that it will be best to find some factory headlights and see if that fixes the issue. #rebuilding #vlog #chevy #ford #bmw

23rd Garage 2024-07-04 | What’s up guys and welcome to 23rd garage today we begin working on the 2018 BMW 440i Gran Coupe. The car was involved in a front and collision and the owner bought it back from the insurance company. He was able to get the car cheap enough to where it was it’s worth rebuilding it. Most of the parts he bought came from an f82 M4, the only thing that he had to buy that was 440. I is the body panels. It’s amazing how similar all these chassis are. We even installed the top crossbeam radiator support from an M4 so he could install the carbon hoop if he wanted to. In this video, we do the framework and get the car ready for the paint shop.

23rd Garage 2024-05-14 | Welcome back to the channel, in today's video Yuri repairs a 2020 Kia Optima that was stolen by the infamous "Kia Boys, who have been terrorizing every Kia owner they possibly can. The Kia Optima comes from the factory without an immobilizer chip in the key and can be hotwired the old school way. The Kia we are working on was not only stolen but taken on a high-speed chase through the city, where it was crashed, and the perpetrators arrested. We had to replace the steering column as well as right front fender and Both passenger side doors. The quarter panel had to be pulled out on our Kansas Jack Magna Rack frame machine and repaired using body filler. Yuri then repainted the entire side of the car and assembled it. This one was involved in a rear end collision and has some minor damage to the frame rail. We pulled the frame and straightened out all the kinks and repainted it. 23rd Garage 2024-04-21 | What’s up guys and welcome back to the channel in today’s video we have to do a little bit of painting on the F80 M3, as you guys know we did scratch the carbon roof when we were installing it, so we need to recoat with clearcoat and also there was a couple of other imperfections on the car that I wanted to get repaired so we repaired those as well in this video.

23rd Garage 2024-04-10 | Is replacing a frame rail on a Jeep Cherokee difficult? No it’s not but it is time consuming that’s for sure. We are on part three of rebuilding the SRT and we have made some very good progress, in todays video we get the frame rail mounted and tacked in ready for finally welding. In this video you will see the time and effort that it takes to do this job and see that it’s not that hard as long as you are willing to learn and to work hard. Everything comes apart in sections and can be assembled again in the same way, all you have to do is line up all the exiting spot welds and paint lines and you are good to go.

Parts Arrived for the 2021 Ford Bronco & M3 gets a Battery!

23rd Garage 2024-03-18 | What’s up guys and welcome back to the channel, while we wait for the oil cooler to arrive for the M3, I install the parts that have arrived for the Ford Bronco, I had to replace the alternator and serpentine belts on the engine as well as the turbocharger charge pipes. The battery arrived for the M3 and I hooked it up to power, we had a little incident and had to shut down the entire operation.

Cutting The Roof off my 2016 BMW M3!! Carbon Fiber Roof Swap!

23rd Garage 2024-03-14 | What’s up guys and welcome back to the channel in today’s video. We are back working on my 2016 BMW M3. How do you guys know I have decided to go with a carbon fibre roof and to do this. We have to remove the old Ruth skin which is steel and is welded on so we have to drill out all the spot worlds in cut off all the sealer and get all the glue off. The carbon fibre roof is used so we also had to remove that from the frame as well, which was a very tedious process. It was very hard because we were trying not to damage the roof and we did damage a little bit but it’s fine we will fix it . stay tuned for the next video guys. Installing The Engine & Dashboard on My 2016 BMW M3 Fake Comp

23rd Garage 2024-03-12 | In today’s video we installed the engine and transmission into my 2016 BMW M3 and we also installed the dashboard and all the doors. I was missing a few parts and luckily Ben over at Vtuned Garage had everything I needed. We where able to get upgrade charge pipes and charge elbow. I Bought a destroyed 2018 BMW M3 Competition! Bad Financial decision?

23rd Garage 2024-03-08 | Welcome back to the channel guys. In today’s video I take delivery of my 2018 BMW M3 competition. I recently purchased this car off of Copart auto auctions and just received it, and I have to say I am very happy with what I bought.. this is a perfect donor car to rebuild my 2016 BMW M3 and get rid of that stupid LS engine. The LS swap was a great idea but I am over it and want to move on! We stripped down the donor vehicle and got everything ready to swap over, I am converting my 2016 BMW M3 to a 2018 M3 Competition! In this video we completely stripped down the entire car down to a bare shell and in the next video we will be doing the same to my white M3. I know a lot of you guys will not be happy with me going back to stock but this is the best way to go!

Installing Rough Country parts on the Ford Bronco & Raptor | Willie takes me on a side quest!

23rd Garage 2024-03-06 | Welcome back to the channel ladies and gentlemen in today’s video we are back on the Ford bronco, we have some Rough Country parts that have arrived and we are going to install them. If you have never heard of Rough Country check Roughcountry.com and you will be surprised by how many different aftermarket parts you can buy for your truck or suv. We ordered hood struts bumper light pods and a rear tire carrier for the Ford bronco and I absolutely love these small subtle upgrades, they are not expensive and transform the look of your vehicle from boring stock to a modified off road capable rig! We also installed a bed cover for our good friend Willie and even tested out how well it works by transporting my Millermatic 211 to his restaurant in the rain. The bed cover did amazing and did not let even a drop of water onto the welder. The cover is super easy to install and only takes about an hour. We visit Randy Bohanons Junkyard and I Weld a Tank for Bob!

23rd Garage 2024-03-04 | Welcome to the channel in today’s video we visit Randy Bohannon‘s auto junkyard and search of parts for our Ford Econoline van and Ford Mustang. Bohanons is one of the largest import junkyards in the south east, and usually has cars no older than 25 years old. We lucked out and found the piece that we need for the econo line van, but unfortunately all the frame rails for the Mustang had too much damage. we marked the cut and tipped Hector to get a quick turnaround so hopefully by the end of the week we will have the van finished. Our good friend Bob also brought over a RV tank water heater, which had expanded due to not being winterized and cracked. This usually happens if you do not drain the water from your RV during the winter and it freezes inside and cracks the actual tank itself.
I cleaned it up and wire wheeled all the cracked areas and put down some nice beads of weld and now he needs to just test it and make sure it’s not leaking before he goes out this weekend. #rebuilding #welding #aluminum #junkyard #parts #howto
