My First Pour in 2 Years — Painting a Ghost Tree Swipe for My Sister Meta Pours Fluid Art 2025-07-29 | After a long break, I’m finally back in the studio — and this pour means a lot. This is my first fluid art video in over two years, and I’m creating a ghost tree swipe for my sister under a soft moonlit palette.I use a custom dark base (Payne’s gray, Artislaw Black, and Titanium white), swiping with Golden Iridescent Pearl Fine and Gold Fine for an ethereal, luminous effect. The tree is made using Amsterdam Titanium White mixed with Satin Enamel, giving it that signature ghostly softness.While I paint, I’m sharing the story of where I’ve been — why I stopped painting, what’s been going on behind the scenes, and what brought me back. This Tree in the Moonlight Painting is a great acrylic pour idea for beginners! Meta Pours Fluid Art 2022-07-13 | You can never duplicate a piece, but I wanted to try and recreate my Tree in the Moonlight painting to see if I could capture its beautiful color combined effects again, and I was not disappointed with my efforts! Catalyst Wedge Abstract Rainbow Pearl Pour TutorialI was watching my friend Rose's Channel, and she was using what I found out is called a catalyst wedge! Now I was mesmerized by the beautiful effects Rose created with her gentle swipes across the canvas, and I knew I had to try it! Now what I used for this pour, is more of a catalyst wedge substitute. It is originally intended for cake icing, but the principle, and basic design are the same. I had purchased a metallic cake spinner for paint pouring, and these icing wedges came with it.
