August 23, 2020. Nice footage from pre-flight, to takeoff, to landing; U.S. Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunters, currently based at Charleston International Airport, South Carolina, flew their highly specialized WC-130J Weatherbird aircraft over the Gulf of Mexico, successfully collecting crucial data on Hurricane Laura, and thus allowing the National Hurricane Center to greatly improve their forecasting.
