The goal of this MAP wasn't to show Needletail as anything but a flawed individual that redeems herself thanks to the good in those around her, she makes bad choices, pays for them, and learns in the end. THAT WAS A HIKE BUT I THINK IT CAME OUT SUPER SWEET!! I got to work with old faces and some really new and I think they all did wonderfully don't you? I was blown away by the standard of work you guys made in such a short time and you should really show your support by subbing them!!This MAP had set restrictions that people had to abide by to help push them out of their comfort zone and they were:- 1-Week time-limmit-25 frame limit-1920 x 890 aspect ratio-No shaky-cam-Always include background animation-No absolute black or whiteIt was really interesting to see what people struggled with and what they did to overcome obstacles! I hope it helped you to think about the process!I ran into a few issues with parts cut to the wrong length and some pacing issues so if I've added a zoom or cut down your part slightly I'm very sorry! Parts are a piece of a whole and I've tried my very best to present your work the best way I can! It's been a pleasure to work with you all!As for the MAP itself? Squirrelflight is my favourite character and I think this was written as my love letter to the journey she went on as a character. NON STOP || Firestar & Onestar || 48 Hour PMV Holly 2016-10-23 | How could two friends drift so far apart? It would seem leadership places unseen burdens upon those that carry it. Firestar will always fight for the good of his friends, Onestar will fight for the good of his clan. But who walks the moral path? The difference between right and wrong is not always black and white.----------------------------------------------PHEW! This... was... a 48 hour.. sorta.. PMV but it took a week! For the record MOST parts were completed within the 48 hours but some were back-ups and some took a little over and it became quite a large editing job so it took a little longer! But BOY WAS IT FUN!!I think it was possibly a little too ambitious to try to tell this whole story and only give 48 hours and it was even MORE ambitious to do it in black and white. No colours means that suddenly character designs become a whole lot tougher and I think that might make it hard to follow! Particularly between Leafpool and Sandstorm. Carol Of The Bells | 2-Week(ish) Warriors MAP Holly 2015-12-22 | Rumour has it that on the longest night of leafbare the Clan's warrior ancestors will come down from silverpelt to dance upon the lake. Young Ivykit and Dovekit set out to see for themselves if this intriguing tale is true. However they quickly discover there may be more to this mystery than they ever could imagine.-----------------------------------------------------------I thought I would upload it today as it is the 22nd and the winter solstice! (the longest night of the year!) Perhaps Ivykit and Dovekit are out making trouble on the lake as we speak!This MAP came with a pretty unique set of challenges. Although MAPs generally tell a story, they are often not set up as a scene in the way this one was. I really wanted it to have a feel of unity to it like a short film and so I ended up doing quite a lot of colour grading, flipping parts to make sure that characters didn't switch from right to left, adding snow and I even had to edit some parts a little to keep the pacing right. I'm nervous you guys will be cross with me for doing so much editing but I really wanted it to look great for you guys! Any edits I had to make really reflect my planning and scripting, not you and your work. But honestly I'm super proud of all who took part! I got to work with a lot of cool people and I think everyone pushed themselves to make something really magical and pretty in such a short time! From the bottom of my heart thank you so much for taking part! Ivypool AMV - BLUE Holly 2015-05-12 | Oh my god I stayed up until like 4:30am to finish this please don't look at me right now. I'm so tired so here's an AMV about Ivypool making bad life choices.I ran out of steam with this AMV and I think that you can tell, there are a fair few animation errors and especially at the Hawkfrost field scene there's that ONE BIT OF GRASS GOING WRONG AND IT IRRITATES ME BUT THAT WAS AT LIKE 3 AM AND RENDERING TOOK YEARS SO SCREW IT but some parts are quite pretty so???
