1 Hour Fireside Ambience (Goose Cabin Fireplace Ambience) Zenith Legend 2024-08-21 | I was finally able to dig up enough footage to put together this edit, 1 hour of fireplace ambience in the old cabin. We called it a cottage, many call it a camp, summer home, or something else. But the mood it elicits is what matters far more than any local nomenclature.Idk how many people will read this, let alone make the connection to the main channel, but the backstory to the cabin is that it was built by my maternal grandparents around 1965, less than ten years after they immigrated to Canada, leaving Eastern Europe behind. This cottage was a very special place to a lot of people, direct family and distant relatives, who spent many vacations and summer times in and around the cabin, experiencing a more natural setting, swimming in the lake, walking trails, and all that deep Canadiana. But as the original owners tend to age out and pass away, these things almost always cause drama and other strife for the family, with people disagreeing on who should provide maintenance and upkeep, who should get to spend what time at the cottage, and petty family spats about things left out or not put away properly. Ask anyone with a shared cottage, and this is pretty common. Really, this has been going on my whole life, but it especially got worse after my mother passed away in 2016, and I was mostly discouraged from doing any kind of maintenance or upkeep on the cabin; meanwhile other family members were simply incapable or unwilling to do so, leaving the cottage to deteriorate into a near unusable condition.My first "fireside video" was made in 2015, and I never really got to fulfil all the dreams I had of making tons of fireside videos. I did make a handful of good ones, and I am happy to have shared this meaningful place with hundreds of thousands who also enjoyed my stories. But I wish things could have been different. I wish this could have become my daily place to create and share content, by the warmth of the fire. I wish I could have streamed and told stories from this spot, many times weekly, for years and years.The long and short is that I will likely never see the inside of this cabin again, as ownership was transferred to a member of the extended family whom I am not on speaking terms with. It's something I have come to terms with over the last couple years, but it's completely official now. To be fair, this cottage has become a dilapidating and near-uninhabitable shack after I was discouraged from caring for it and maintaining it since 2016, with half of the electrical outlets not working, plumbing freezing every year, an unmanageable septic system, and all the little twists that make caring for a seasonal retreat to become untenable for all but those who are dedicated and passionate about upkeeping such a place. I had held onto hope that perhaps it would land in my lap at the end of a long and convoluted journey, but alas, it has not. So it is time to "let go" of any hope I had for this place.Anyways, I wanted to make this video as a base of memories, not just for myself, but for all who enjoyed my fireside stories. I dream one day that I will get back to a similar fireside, and tell hundreds, if not thousands of more stories to come, make new memories, and share grand times about my life and experiences with the world around me.

I swear that I found them back in the 2000's when playing this back in the day. I tried on this session spawning in the blue-uniformed guards for about 3 hours, but had no luck. I compared these two runs based off the first PP7 shot hitting the last alarm.It makes sense why no one does this on 00A, given how scary it is to risk a PB pace Dam 00A run at the end for a 0.2 timesave, but it's definitely a timesaver.

Nat's text doesn't always disappear consistently, plus Clemens backed up Nat to a really ideal spot, so it's possible this was like a low 16 end (if the text disappeared later than usual) and all he needed was a mid 16.This definitely could have been 4:03 if we could go back in time and get a Nat-perfect ending on this run.

I'm uploading in case he doesn't make a video, as it seems he's keen to continue going for 403.Clemens and chat seemed to think this was at least 4:04, with a chance at 4:03. Control paces are notoriously hard to gauge though, and it turned out to be a 4:05.Clemens later says that Ace's Control SA 4:03 and 00A 4:04 "might be the best WRs". They're the 3rd and 4th longest standing untieds, having been set in 2016, and are still both 2 second untieds to this day. Though we'll see how long that lasts, now that Clemens is playing the level.I timed the "ending" (Nat's last message disappearing to entering the lift) at 17.11 seconds, which I think is quite good, though I haven't played the level in a while so I might be off.
