How we built this year's NAIDOC Collection.

Ten films. One theme: 50 Years of Deadly.

We didn't set out to cover every story. We set out to find the ones that belonged together: a family running to save their town, two friends crossing Arnhem Land to fight for a third's future, an Elder reclaiming 60,000 years of birthing knowledge, a documentary crew following decades of one man's fight for justice, and six short films that would otherwise never share a screen.

That's the collection. Ten stories, one pass.
