How to Add Date and Time to Watermark Text on Samsung Galaxy S26, S26 Plus and S26 Ultra Camera
Learn how to show the date and time in watermark text on photos captured with the Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra Camera.
The Samsung Camera app can add watermark information to newly captured photos. Depending on the available settings, you can display information such as the phone model, date, and time directly on the photograph.
To enable the date and time watermark, open the Camera app and go to Camera Settings. Find the Watermark option and open its settings. Turn on Watermark if it is disabled, then look for the Date and time option and enable it. If available, you can also choose whether to display the phone model along with the date and time.
After changing the setting, return to the Camera app and capture a test photo. Open the photo in Gallery and check that the date and time appear in the watermark as expected.
Displaying the date and time can be useful for documenting events, recording when a photograph was captured, organizing images, or keeping visual records. Before taking important photos, check the watermark position so that the text does not cover an important part of the subject.
Remember that watermark information is added to new photographs after the setting is enabled. It does not normally add the date and time retroactively to older photos.
If you cannot find the Watermark option, check that you are using the Samsung Camera app and review the available Camera settings. The exact menu names and watermark controls can vary depending on the Galaxy S26 series software version, camera mode, and region.
If you want clean photos without additional text, you can disable the Watermark feature again. You can also turn off individual watermark information when those controls are available.
