When I got my 1980 Northfield 32” bandsaw, it was in great shape, but the tires were likely the original factory versions. It is easy to order a new set of endless urethane tires from Northfield Machinery, and they include the recommended epoxy. I did need to get an epoxy applicator gun and tips from Amazon. The instructions from Northfield suggest using four people to stretch the tire onto the wheel. As I am an adult, I don’t have four friends that I can call on a whim. I ended up using my steam bending table (build from free @LeeValleyTools plans) to get the tire on solo. It ended up working quite well. If you don’t have a bending table (who doesn’t????), two pieces of 3/4” plywood sandwiched together with holes drilled for sturdy dowels would probably work as well.
