This video gives you a step-by-step guide with visuals on how to replace a fuel sending unit on a 2001 through 2006 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra Duramax. This will also work for a gas model as well. Please keep in mind that the gas model has a fuel pump inside of the sending unit while the diesel do not as the diesel utilizes a CP3 pump in the engine to pull fuel from the tank.
