In this video I demonstrate how to take off and reinstall the rear cassette sprockets (gears) from a bike wheel. I have only covered the freehub and cassette type system that are typically found on newer and higher end bicycles. I have a separate video which shows how to do this on bikes which use the freewheel type of rear sprocket ratcheting system. I also have a video that will help you identify which of these two systems you have.
This is a useful skill to have for swapping between different gear ratios, for cleaning your cogs, and for performing other bike maintenance tasks including changing a broken spoke.

The tools recommended include:
-Cassette Lockring Tool (visit your local bike shop).
-A sized wrench that fits onto your Cassette Lockring Tool.
-Chain Whip
The type of grease that I used is White Lithium Grease, but there are many other types of grease that will work equally well.
