In this video, I will show you how to make blood spill from a mesh and stain the ground in Unreal Engine 5 using decals and Niagara. This is a great way to add some realism to your games or simulations. I will also show an overview of a decal that can align to any surface even right angles without stretching.
Here are the steps involved:
Create a decal material. This will be the material that is used to create the blood stains.
Create a Niagara system. This will be used to generate the blood spatter.
Attach the decal material to the Niagara system.
Configure the Niagara system to your liking.
Play your game or simulation and see the blood spatter in action!
