How to Make A Wooden Sign Frame / Make A Frame with Rabbets
In my last video I made an extra large farmhouse style sign that had a new style frame from m y previous videos. It was a rabbet style frame, or picture style frame, that was knotched out on the back side so the sign board could fit flush inside the frame.
It is a much nicer way to make frames for your farmhouse style signs, or even for picture frames you want to make at home. So in this video I show you exactly how you can make this style frame with just some simple woodworking tools and materials.
The materials I used in this video were:
1x8 Pine board (actual dimensions 7.5" x 0.75")
2x4's
