This knitting tutorial shows you step-by-step how to knit hearts; ideal for attaching to the front of a greeting card or stringing together to make a garland for Valentine's day!

There are multiple ways to knit a heart, and this particular one is knit top-down in garter stitch, and has a slip stitch edge. The finished shape (when knit with chunky yarn and 6mm needles) is around 10cm/4" tall.
