inkyfairydesigns | How to Foil the leftovers from Stamp n Cut Dies using the Crafters Companion Gemini FoilPress @inkyfairydesigns | Uploaded November 2018 | Updated October 2024, 16 hours ago.
I hope you enjoy this video where I am putting the brand new Crafter's Companion Gemini FOILPRESS machine to use with their Stamp n Foil dies! I think these are my favorite of the dies available to use with these type of machines because it stamps the foil into your paper and cuts all at once. Plus you get beautiful negatives to use on additional projects which is what we are doing in this video.
I've found that 20 seconds is enough time to heat up the foil and the run it through the Gemini Foil with the following configuration: Foil (color side down), Card stock you want to foil, paper shim, magnetic shim, Top Plate.
I hope this video helps show you how you get two different cards with one die using the Gemini FoilPress! Let me know in the comments if you are enjoying these videos and if there are any other techniques you'd like to see!
While I'm a total novice when it comes to foiling, I'm really enjoying this machine and the endless possibilities! I just wish I had more time to really play and create more with it!
The FOILPRESS launched on HSN Nov 6, 2018 here and you can still purchase it or check it out here: gohsn.co/pkSlIp
