How to Fix a HomePod mini That Won't Stop Playing Music
If your HomePod mini keeps playing music and won't stop, try these fixes in order.
1. Tell Siri to Stop Playing
The quickest fix:
Say:
"Hey Siri, stop."
or:
"Hey Siri, stop playing music."
Wait a few seconds. The HomePod should pause playback.
2. Stop Music From the Home App
Open the Home app on your iPhone or iPad.
Find your HomePod mini.
Tap the HomePod.
Tap the pause button to stop playback.
3. Use the Top Touch Control

On the top of the HomePod mini:

Tap once → Pause/play music
Tap twice → Skip to next song
Tap three times → Go back
