How to beat Dreadfuse in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD. This complete Dreadfuse boss guide covers the Sky Keep mini-boss fight and shows you the correct strategy for defeating the powerful Ancient Robot.
Dreadfuse is encountered on a narrow bridge inside the Sky Keep dungeon. Attack from the directions he is not guarding and use quick sword strikes, particularly forward thrusts, to force him backwards towards the edge of the platform.
As the fight progresses, Dreadfuse will reduce the amount of space available by moving the wooden spikes behind Link closer. Keep applying pressure, avoid being forced backwards, and carefully attack around his guard.
After Dreadfuse loses his first sword, he becomes faster and begins attacking more frequently. Watch out for his electrically charged weapon and continue forcing him towards the edge. During the final phase, Dreadfuse attacks with his hook and can perform a dangerous spinning attack. Push him from the platform one final time to defeat him.
