Ski Joring — Two words, three heart beats. A winter sport with roots in Europe but strong history in Colorado's ranching culture involves three beings: the skier, the rider, and the horse. All three must work together to get down a snow covered track while going over jumps and grabbing rings in the shortest amount of time.

We went behind the scenes with Patrick Smith, Frankie Moon, and Bryson Threatt to see what it felt like to compete in the "Grand Daddy of 'em All" ski joring competition in Leadville. Then sure enough, they won the whole thing by the end of the weekend.
