Can joy be misleading?
Faraḥ (joy) may arise from something true, rightful, and spiritually sound, but it also could be rooted in falsehood, ego, arrogance, or something rooted in the dunya alone. It’s important that as we navigate our own spiritual landscapes, we are able to differentiate where our sources of joy are coming from – and how to choose truth over falsehood.
In Episode 11, Dr. Abdallah Rothman explores the uplifting feeling of joy, rooted in goodness, and gives us practical steps to keep choosing what brings us closer to Allah ﷻ.
This Ramadan, we are asking our Instagram community to help raise $5,000 of our overall goal for the newly launched Maristan Academy. Your sadaqah today makes a true impact as we seek to offer new trainings that offer the Muslim community tools to help prevent mental health crises.
