It's a boy! We’re thrilled to welcome a new eastern bongo calf to the Houston Zoo family! Born on June 25 and weighing 46 pounds, this little guy is healthy and will be named very soon. He's staying close to mom Bernadette, and getting to know his herd, including Cara and her daughter Franny. Come say hello to our newest arrival in the bongo yard at African Forest!
