This has been 3 weeks in yhe making. I was requested to fo a cover of this song by my fellow Genshin Impact Players who also play Honkai Star Rail. When I first heard this, I don't know but Iit made me emotional. Hwen I read the lyrics and understand, my curiousity about Firefly was piqued, so I started watvhing HSR gameplays and videos avout the HSR couple Caelus and Fireflu, never expecting I'd get attached to Firefly.

My initial plan was to do a piano instrumental pf this. but when I got the piece and listened to the song closely, I realize it's impossible to do on a 61-key synth. So instead I decided to do this with a singer. The firat singer I got for this bwcked out for whatever reason. Glad that my childhood friend agreed to do this. She also offered to do the editing because she had an idea. Considwring my laptop's screen has lines all over and i have to use my tablet as a second screen to see what I'm doing, I gave her the reigns to :dit..and honestly, I'm impressed and mind blown by the reault. I did have a similar idea of overlaying the original music video to the project. Vut :hat she did here was unxpected. I's so beautiful and I thank her for it.

I'm torn between happy and sad right now. Happy because of the outcome of this project, and sad that my Poco F2 Pro I ised to shoot all my videos since November 2020 died on me this morning. I was jist charging it and it suddenly went "System has been destroyed!"
