Raspitali smo se kod lučkih operatera o Terberg-u, od njih smo čuli reči hvale, kao i to da su cene Terberg proizvoda malo veće. No, tu razlika u ceni Terberg tegljač-traktor lako nadoknadi efektivnošću u radu. Odlučili smo se za kupovinu 3 Terberg vozila i sada planiramo da dodamo još jedno svojoj floti. U radu ih koristimo zajedno sa specijalno napravljenim “timmerbaljor” prikolicama dužine 25 metara, koje sada mogu prenositi 85 tona drvne građe što je znatno više nego kada smo koristili klasične kamione. Radijus okretanja tegljača je vrlo mali, što nam omogućava da okrenemo prikolice na stazi širine samo 25 metara. The company used to use road tractiors to haul the heavy specialized trailers but the arduous duty cycle led to damage to the gearboxes and chassis. Jörgen Göransson: “We saw an advertisement for Terberg in trailer magazine. They seemed to offer what we were looking for: 32 tonnes on the fifth wheel and speed up to 30 km/h. Four wheel drive was also attractive because we have to operate on muddy sites. We asked port operators about Terberg and heard that they were slightly more expensive than other brands, but more than made up the difference by how well they worked. We bought three Terberg tractors in 2015 and are now adding another one to our fleet. They are used with large custom built timmerbaljor trailers with a length of 25 metres. They can now carry 85 tonnes of timber, significantly more than when we used road trucks. The turning radius of the tractors is so small that we can turn the trailers round on a quay which is only 25 metres wide.
