The Great Divide: East and West PETER HELLAND 2024-06-02 | Peter Helland recently traveled to Croatia to participate in a conference held by Mike Jones on the subject of Beauty and especially about his book, "The Dangers of Beauty." About 40 people attended from many different countries. Peter and Mike talk about the trip and some of the discussions that took place there. Mike spent and extra week speaking in Serbia. Around 1992 Catholic Croatia fought Orthodox Serbia. This is where the East meets the West. Some of Mike's themes in this interview include the quote by Sun Tzu: "If you do not know who you are and you do not know your enemy you can not win." Mike says Americans have no ethnic identity and in fact they have a mythic identity. He says the American identity is basically the gun and the bible. But the problem with relying too much on the gun is you might be forgoing the opportunity to reach peace through conversation instead.
In Memorial of Adams Rib PETER HELLAND 2024-05-31 | On the American holiday, called Memorial Day, Peter filmed this talk. The holiday is for honoring the men who died believing they were defending Americans. Right before Jesus died for us He said in Mark 14:9 "Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her." Peter notes that every time all four gospels mention Jesus's feet or head being annointed with oil it was always done by women. Women were created by God out of Adam's rib in order for Adam to not be alone and to have a suitable helper. However with the teaching of evolution dominating in most of our schools most Christians do not seriously believe in Adam and Eve like St. Paul and Jesus did. Unless America repents and believes in what St. Paul, Jesus and the Church Fathers taught on the first 11 chapters of Genesis it will continue heading toward Sodom. Peter says that the first thing that must be done practically is for the husbands to command their wives to wear the head covering during the worship service. The head covering is the sign of the women's submission to the authority of her husband. It is her recognition that she was created from the man's rib to be the man's companion and helper.

The disciples had just witnessed Christ revealing to them the interpretation of the Old Testament. That the Messiah was prophesied to suffer for our sins and prophesied to then rise from the dead on the third day. This knowledge and the knowledge that Jesus is the Christ comes from the Father as the gift of eternal life. John 17:3: And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. However many American Christians have been influenced by the teachings of John Nelson Darby through the Scofield Study bible. Scofield taught that Jesus is not currently the Christ but instead we are in the interregnum period or Church age. After the Church is raptured Jesus will come back again to the Jews, sitting on the Throne of David and offer himself as their Christ. Then the millennium or thousand year rule by the Jews can begin. But John says the liar and antichrist denies Jesus is currently the Christ. I John 2: 22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

Our Judicial System vs. The Law of God PETER HELLAND 2024-02-16 | Pastor Mario Sims and Peter Helland discuss our judicial system and its relationship to the law of God. Both men have taken a case to the Supreme Court and both were denied a hearing. They learned a lot about our American system in the process. The great William Blackstone agreed that our legal system was based on the lie of John Locke's social contract theory. Our system is called a legal fiction. As God said after the fall that Adam and Eve had become as gods just like the serpent predicted, so our system declares that in fact we are by nature completely independent and free. We then by a social contract surrender some of these freedoms to form a government of our making and for the protection of the imaginary rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. God is significantly excluded from this creating of our own government. Lincoln enshrined the idea that we are a government "of the people, by the people and for the people." However the bible declares that government is ordained by God and created by God. Eldest Son And Brother PETER HELLAND 2024-01-13 | Peter Helland looks into the real purpose of the American Revolution. Thomas Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence that all men are created equal and that governments exist to secure everyone's (except the slaves) unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. As Archbishop John Henry Hopkins said these so called self evident truths are not true at all. Most likely these words are lies meant to mislead people from what the real purpose was of declaring Independence. Jefferson immediately after writing this propaganda passed laws in Virginia that aimed to destroy the right of the first born son called entail and primogeniture. It certainly seems this was a war of the younger brothers against their first born elder brothers. This experiment was executed directly against the laws of nature and God's Word which both require that the eldest son be given what the scripture calls the right of the first born son. Boiled down these rights include a double inheritance of the father's property and double honor leading to filling the Father's shoes when he dies. How the Church has interpreted "double inheritance" requires one not to be too legalistic perhaps. How The St. Joe County Public Library Enables Genocide In Gaza PETER HELLAND 2023-12-24 | Dr. E. Michael Jones visits the local public access channel studio in downtown South Bend to discuss with Peter Helland his understanding of the very controversial decision to continue to retain the retired Jewish lawyer of Barnes and Thornburg, Alan Feldbaum, to his high position within the St. Joseph County Public Library. Many local citizens and particularly mothers, represented by county council member, Amy Drake, want him replaced. Feldbaum has been insisting that the children section contain books like "Flamer" and "This Book is Gay." The mothers and many others feel this makes it morally unsafe for their children to be in the children's section of the library. Amy Drake thought for sure the three Republican conservative county commissioners would support her. Instead as Dr. Jones says, they stabbed her in the back. While this extremely important 10 am meeting was taking place, only two hours later at 12 o'clock the Republicans were holding a meeting at the Juday Creek golf course to listen to "conservative" radio talk show host Casey Hendrickson and common council member Eli Wax give a talk on "Understanding Israel" in light of the war in Gaza. After the hour talk Jones was given the first question. Jones said the talk was an insult to the intelligence of the audience. Hendrickson immediately started "sparring" with Jones. Finally Hendrickson said: "I know who you are. The ADL says you are an antisemite." This galvanized the crowd against Jones. But fortunately Mike came with some friends that created a buffer for him. Mike never was allowed to say his peace at the meeting but now on public access and youtube he can get his important message out: Both political parties in St. Joseph County and South Bend are controlled way too much by the Jewish citizens and outside Jewish influence he says. Michael Jones new book "The Holocaust Narrative" took place 10/4/2022 after his initial manuscripts for the book were written. The Nord Stream had just been blown up and it was obvious that America did it. Was there really 6 million Jews who died during WWII? Were most of these 6 million Jews actually gassed to death? When Peter was a student at Notre Dame in 1972 everybody certainly appeared to believe evolution was a fact. Now over 50 years later Notre Dame university still teaches only theistic evolution and a creationist teacher is very unlikely to be found.Notre Dame will admit that Jesus and the Apostles taught and believed that God created the world in six literal days and rested on the seventh like the ten commandments and Genesis chapter one says.But the current Catholic Church almost unanimously takes the position of theistic evolution. ZACCHAEUS AND THE SYCAMORE TREE PETER HELLAND 2023-06-16 | Peter Helland recently went to an annual prayer breakfast at Notre Dame University sponsored by the Sycamore Trust founded by an alumnus from the class of 52, Bill Dempsey. At the breakfast Father Bill Miscamble gave one of the key talks. Afterwards Peter had a conversation with him. He asked Father Miscamble, who is a history professor at Notre Dame if he could consider teaching the history of Orestes A. Brownson and his understudy, John Zahm. Brownson was a fierce and outspoken critic of Darwin's new teaching on evolution. Zahm later and surprisingly betrayed Brownson and embraced evolution. In fact Zahm wrote a book, "Evolution and Dogma" promoting theistic evolution. He even taught in his 1894 book that Augustine and Aquinas taught theistic evolution. The Vatican thought this was heretical and was going to put the book on the Index of forbidden books. However Notre Dame and the Vatican worked out a deal instead. Zahm was to publicly renounce the teachings in that book. Zahm never did publicly renounce the book and Notre Dame University kept alive his teaching of theistic evolution. In fact Father Miscamble insisted to Peter that Augustine did in fact teach theistic evolution. Peter completely disagrees with this and believes TE ultimately leads to the loss of biblical faith and to paganism. The answer in large part is homeschooling and the parents aggressively teaching children who they are in Adam with original sin and then by faith and baptism, that they are righteous in Christ the second or last Adam.The other theme Peter touches on is that Zacchaeus who climbed the sycamore tree to see Jesus was a chief tax collector made rich by his misappropriation of the people's money. Many people in our culture are guilty of something similar. When Zacchaeus hosted Jesus for the night he also was brought to repentance by being with Jesus. Many, many people in our culture should also have their Zacchaeus-Jesus moment.

No Eutrapalia/ Jesting,But rather Eucharistia/Thanksgiving PETER HELLAND 2023-04-26 | Peter Helland continues with part 2 on the subject of theatre and eutrapalia. In Paul's letter to the Ephesians in chapter 5 verse 4 Paul writes that there should be no eutrapalia but rather eucharistia. Most scholars consider this a purposeful play on words. Paul is saying that instead of talking in a jesting way Christians should be full of thanksgiving instead. St. John Chrysostom in his homily number 17 on the evil of eutrapalia declares that trying to be humorous and witty in conversation is unbecoming for a Christian. He says that this way of talking leads eventually to fornication. Chrysostom gives a very powerful sermon for us today and Bishop Bossuet completely agrees with him. Unfortunately Thomas Aquinas in trying to adapt to Aristotle went too far in accepting Aristotle's teaching that eutrapalia was a virtue. Now it seems that even the Christians act like they accept this way of talking as a virtue and no longer as a vice like all the church fathers did.
Christian Language vs. Pagan Language PETER HELLAND 2023-04-15 | Catholic bishop Jacques-Bénigne Bossuet wrote his book: "Maxims and Reflections on Plays" in 1699 in response to a priest writing that plays were innocent. Bossuet upheld the position of the Church Fathers that the play was invented by the Devil and was used for the devil's purposes. The Church has failed to hold this position and now people's souls are being destroyed by Hollywood and sports. St. Paul in the book of Ephesians wrote that the practicing of Eutrapalia brings God's wrath down on the person using it. However the modern world, along with the majority of Christians believe that Eutrapalia is a virtue as Aristotle and Thomas Aquinas taught. However Aquinas is the only Church Father that held that position. Eutrapalia is translated jesting, levity, ridiculing wit, urbanity, jocular conversation, etc. St. Paul says that instead of this theatre and pagan type language the Christian should use the language of a sober and grave person. That is basically the language of thanksgiving and praise to our God and Father.
Politics Drawn from the Very Words of Holy Scripture PETER HELLAND 2023-03-10 | Peter discusses a dissertation written by a PHD candidate from Catholic University in Washington D.C., Dennis Martin Nilsen in 2018. He titled his dissertation: A Politics sourced in Holy Scripture? A critical examination of the theories of Bishop Jacques-Benigne Bossuet. Peter argues for the overthrow of the lie at the foundation of the great American Experiment. The lie originates mainly with John Locke and his social contract theory. America teaches the world that governments are instituted among men and by men and for men so that their right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness can be properly secured. Bossuet, along with the Englishman Sir Robert Filme, taught that instead governments are ordained and instituted among men by God through the first father-king Adam. And that all governments must obey God's laws or else receive divine judgment and wrath which now America is receiving.
The Declaration of Independence PETER HELLAND 2023-02-21 | Peter Helland talks about the famous letter of Abigail Adams to her husband John. She basically says that since John was declaring Independence from the tyranny of Britain she is declaring the women's independence from husband's tyranny over wives. She said the husbands will not be called masters from now on but friends and the duty of husbands is to promote their wives happiness. She threatened in the letter to lead a revolt of all the women against the men if her request is not granted. Peter reads from Dr. Gregg Singer and Bishop John Henry Hopkins regarding the deistic worldview of the Declaration of Independence. They both argued that the abolitionist movement was created in full reliance on the belief that slavery was wrong because it violated the ideas in the Declaration of Independence. The first sentence of the Gettysburg Address summarized the Declaration of Independence's main thought: "FOURSCORE and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal." Thaddeus Stevens, the head of the radical Republicans during the Civil War, said the Constitution was the greatest tyranny the world had ever seen. He said the real identity for America is only found in the principles of the Declaration of Independence. The constitution had to be redone. The 14 amendment greatly helped to bring the constitution into conformity with the Declaration of Independence. But now America is a country grounded on commerce and the love of money, Its political system determines truth by majority vote. However God rejected the first King, Saul, because he feared the people and obeyed their voice. 23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. 24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.

Remsburg titled "Abraham Lincoln: Was He A Christian?" Remsburg destroys the idea that Lincoln could possible have ever changed from being a lifelong infidel. Lincoln wrote a book trying to disprove and destroy Christianity. The darkness of "Honest Abe" was similar to the darkness of Karl Marx. That is why the heretical Christian north flocked to Lincoln and supported him in his cause of destroying the Bible Belt South.Lincoln's main mentor was the Boston Unitarian Minister, infidel Theodore Parker, one of the secret six who sponsored John Brown's raid on the federal arsenal at Harper's Ferry. We pledge alliance to a nation under God but at the same time this nation has always vehemently refused to acknowledge God in its Constitution. At the core of its political system is the belief in John Locke's Social Contract theory. Robert Lewis Dabney called Locke a baptized image of the atheistic philosopher, Thomas Hobbes. This theory takes us right back to the fall of Adam and Eve. The serpent said you will be as gods if you eat. They ate and then God said they had become as one of them (Trinity). Locke argues man is born independent and not under any moral obligation to anyone. But to best function in society this god-like independent person volunteers to give up some of his freedoms to form a social contract with others. But he retains the authority to withdraw his consent at any time. He is now a "citizen" and not a subject. This principle then destroys the husband and wife relationship because she does not have to obey without her consent. Dabney says society will unravel quickly. The patriot theologians argued that when Adam died everything went to a democracy because Adam did not designate a successor. Biblical marriage is thus destroyed and now "the children will be reared nearer akin to devils than to men" writes Dabney.

This is why there is such a problem today with the German prelates and their Synodal Way that is a rejection of Catholic doctrine.The US Government, the American socio-economic elites, and the global plutocracy rely on the Catholics and the Catholic Church to assist them in achieving their goals of world domination. This is best achieved by having the Catholic leadership abandon sound doctrine. Doing so rejects reason, faith, tradition, all the virtues to include solidarity all of which is essential to establish the common good in societies and in a right ordered international order. The common good is the sum total of those conditions that make it easier for one to achieve their vocation which means salvation.
