this edit attempts to pace dialogue more naturally without all the awkward pausing, and attempts to create a cohesive, linear narrative, as if were a cartoon all along.
to accomplish this goal, wherever possible, all video-gamey elements are removed. this does result in a slightly different story being told, as a few story beats were re-organized to give context.
this edit definitely has my own creative intuition inserted into it, and it's okay for you to disagree with what made the cut and what didn't. regardless, i found this edit to be very fun to make, and i'm thankful i get to share it with you all!

for instance, it would be tedious to show the viewer that strong bad has to go collect an onion, and give it to homestar. the peak of the humor is that strong bad is able to convince homestar to rub the onion all over himself. seeing him specifically collect the onion isn't funny, interesting, or contextually significant enough to warrant making the cut.
it makes for a fun gameplay challenge that the player has to think to even get the onion in the first place. but for a cartoon, it's just not relevant or funny.
the same thing goes for total load. strong bad responding to the spam email isn't as funny as him just inexplicably having illegal performance enhancers on his person, just to put them into pom pom's bag. once again, gameplay warrants a fetch quest, where a cartoon wouldn't have taken the detour.

excluding marzipan's answering machine, and fan 'stumes, since they have other compilations already.

The game consists of a collection of camera games, parallel to the PS2 EyeToy, but for Apple's FireWire webcam, called the iSight.
The game has some kickass aesthetics and music, and it should be preserved.
Adam Fothergill's band name is Jaffa Mountain. I will be crediting his music directly with his name, since there is no record of Jaffa Mountain ever existing on the internet.

versions 1 through 14.2 use the DVD source for higher quality audio.
15.2 and 16.2 never had an HQ audio release, so they use the original 16kbps MP3. 17.2 was posted on youtube with HQ audio.

Let's pour one out for one of the coolest arcade rhythm games of all time, the discontinuation of which was announced yesterday. Goodbye, WACCA. You were one of the real ones.

If you think it sounds bad, you're right. It sounds even worse through the unit's tiny speakers.
Special thanks to wai-3-love for dumping the ROM, and to 987123879113 for writing a python script to dump the WAV data from the dumped ROM.

For example, songs that play in the intro, menu, results and evaluation screens, ending, credits, etc.
The songs that you actually play, which I'm labelling "chart songs" in this case, are not included because there are a ton of uploads of those already on YouTube.
In the Groove 1 and 2 were created by Roxor. I believe Kyle Ward was the producer of all the music.
In the Groove 3 was in production, but never released, due to a lawsuit from Konami. The ITG3 music featured here was made by fans under the label BoXoRRoXoRs.

ripped all 6 DVDs to ISO using ImgBurn, then used VidCoder to encode to 480p60 mp4, and used LosslessCut to concatenate the videos together into one big marathon.
i was going to put timecodes for every episode, but i'd be doing that for the rest of my life. maybe someday.
please support the original release!

Dumped in the highest quality possible from a real VTech SkillStarter Handheld.
There was no headphone jack or any form of audio out, so the audio was extracted by soldering wires directly to the speaker, and routing it into the audio capture.
