More often than not, we end up listening to ourselves instead of talking to ourselves. We feel the pull of earthly pleasures. We start to wonder if God can really keep us. We wilt under the weight of trials that keep piling up. It's in those moments that the Spirit of God invites us to speak truth to ourselves, just as the psalmist does: "Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God." (Psalm 42:11)
Help Us Love You Lord is a confession of trust- placing our hope in the God who promises to keep us and sustain us through every trial.
