Post-Apocalypse Concept Art - Photoshop Timelapse | Photobashing Encreate 2022-07-22 | A post-apocalyptic artwork I created for the epic community collab by @Sigachev @AsabinArt @Farely . I was intrigued by the rail carriage platform mockup for the collab, and almost immediately imagined a scene very much inspired by the visuals of "I Am Legend" or "The Last of Us". I planned to create such a post-apocalyptic composition for quite some time, so I felt this might be a good time to do so.Well, you must have noticed this piece is more painterly rather than the usual photo manipulation I do. It's because I was on vacation and came back home just two days back. With the collab deadline being today, it was almost impossible for me to create something within this short time. So I implemented the flexibility of quick painterly strokes to get around the restrictions of realistic photo manipulation. But at the same time, I decided to use photos for baseplates and textures to speed things up. I did want to create a photo-bash like this for a long time but never gave it a try. Since this is the first time I created something like this, pardon the mistakes and errors in it. I turned BENNY into a HORROR MANGA ART! (Photoshop Speed Art) Encreate 2022-03-25 | Hey guys! So I thought about again participating in @BennyProductions 's Photoshop Battle for this March. He gave a photo of him and, this time, he asked us to turn him into something awful. Quoting him, it needs to be "ugly, cursed, demonic, weird, or terrifying". And the only thing that came to my mind hearing it, is the crazily horrifying work of Junji Ito. I feel he is one of the best horror manga artists out there. If you haven't seen his work, be sure to check them out. So I decided to transform the photo into a similar horror manga art. Atmospheric perspective changes the tonal and color values of distant objects due to dust, fog, and other particles present in the air. It can be an easily overlooked subject, but it can take your compositions to a whole new level if applied correctly.In the first part of the video, I addressed a brief difference of atmospheric depth to the depth of field. These two topics are often confused, and many beginners end up adding incorrect depth of field to their Photoshop compositions. I DID THIS with my 15 years old drawing in Photoshop! The drawing was inspired by the 90's NES video-game Ninja Gaiden, and the idea to Photoshop it was definitely sparked by the "Realistified" series from @BennyProductions, and I can't thank you enough for inspiring.
