Have you ever had hayashi rice? I've had it a few times and love it but never really knew much about it. The following is straight off Wikipedia but I found it interesting so I'll leave a quote below~
"The dish originates from the former mining town of Ikuno, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. There was a French engineer who worked for the mine in 1868 and improved it. Hayashi rice has a western influence with the use of demi-glace and often red wine, but is unknown in western countries."

Just like my previous song Mitsuhama - this one is based on actual events. These songs are more or less ways of expressing my gratitude to the people I've met during my time in Japan that have treated me well. I'm gonna sound really hippie for a second but I think it's important to give thanks in whatever way you can. For me, making music is my thing so this one goes out to my friends and their delicious hayashi rice! Cheers!
