Last year I was asked to write music for Jennifer Frödin’s short film “Hack i häl”, a silent film about a mysterious character trying to post a letter through a rather unwilling mailman. I had loads of fun scoring it, and both the film and Jennifer’s brief called for a lot of interesting twists and turns in terms of style and sound. Everything from ABBA to jazz and even ragtime acted as inspiration for this eclectic score.
I also somehow managed to grab an award for it last year at “Story Filmfestival” in Sundsvall so that was also super fun and flattering.
A huge thank you to Jennifer for asking me to score it and giving me the opportunity to have so much fun with it. Certainly a collaboration I’ll jump at in the blink of an eye if given the chance again.
