I know this version says 2003 instead of 2002, but that's because they share similar instrumentation (although 2003's is of higher quality). Also, the Toms used in this cover are NOT NeoGeo samples, I had to use default toms for them because I couldn't find an specific tom sample for the moment. Anyways, music commissions are open! Yay! Blaze (KOF 98 Style Remix) - The King of Fighters 2003 RaitoADV 2019-01-03 | Here's (possibly) the first "KOF '98 Style" Remix ever created and uploaded on YouTube. By the way, I'm open to free remix requests for the moment.I decided to choose Blaze for my first KOF '98 Style Remix because KOF 2003's instruments sound kind of bland for me, and I wanted to see if using instruments from previous games would make the composition sound better.I made it using FL Studio 12 and some of KOF '98 instrument samples that I ripped from some VGZ files using Audacity. It was sort of tedious but the results made the efforts worth it.
