Bob Mintzer on the Tenor Sax Sound, plays All The Things You Are and moreEastman2026-09-29 | Bob Mintzer on the Tenor Sax Sound, plays All The Things You Are and moreBob Mintzer - ETS852 52nd Street Tenor Saxophone | EastmanEastman2023-03-30 | Developed exclusively with acclaimed saxophonist Bob Mintzer, Eastman’s design team has pushed the 52nd Street family of saxophones to a new standard of precision, elegance, and sound. With Bob’s insight into professional playing preferences, Eastman has created the horn Bob dreamed of: the ETS852 52nd Street tenor saxophone.
The ETS852 tenor includes defining features of the 52nd Street saxophone. Rolled-style tone holes, a larger bell, and an unlacquered finish contribute heavily to the classic American saxophone sound concept. A big, fat sound with indisputable core fills any venue in which its played. These design elements are expertly paired with the patented DS Mechanism—the keywork design that provides players with unrivaled stability and elegance. The ETS852 also introduces the all new “M” neck, designed specifically for Bob Mintzer's playing style. This broad neck opens the horn and leaves you feeling that the instrument isn’t even there – it's just you, and your expression of music.

Inspired by the legendary York orchestral tuba, the EBC836 6/4 CC tuba is a tuba player's dream. It is comfortable to play in virtually any setting. As a solo instrument, the player will appreciate the ease of response and flexibility. In chamber ensembles, the outstanding pitch and ability to change sound will delight audiences.
#tuba #brass #orchestra #banddirectorAníbal Seminario – ETS652 52nd St. Tenor Saxophone | EastmanEastman2022-07-14 | Meet Eastman artist Aníbal Seminario, saxophonist and clarinetist from Lima, Perú. He co-founded and directs the Afro-Peruvian Jazz Orchestra, a 20-piece big band that merges the rhythms and elements of Afro-Peruvian music with American jazz to perform exciting new sounds and original works.
The 52nd Street saxophone is a professional instrument and comes unlacquered for a truly vintage appearance. It is an exceptionally responsive horn in all registers and produces a big, fat sound with precise intonation. A larger bell and rolled-style tone holes contribute to the sound qualities of this instrument that many compare to some of the great vintage horns of the past.
