I remember always talking with my friends at school about meeting up in RuneScape and exploring the world. This song is part of the soundtrack of my earliest RuneScape adventures. It's a song that I hear when I think back to discovering new things in RuneScape. It also brings back memories of all the hours I put into mining southeast of Varrock haha. This one took a little longer than I'd hoped but I'm happy I managed to get this it done, it seemed like every little thing was going wrong with this production haha. I changed this tune up a bit from the original, I attempted a key change in the middle of the song instead of going into the original middle section because I tend to get bored listening to that part haha. Going through those gates north of Falador for the first time was a magical experience!! I logged onto RS3 around a week ago just to check things out (I only play Old School at the moment), and this song started playing. I absolutely love the orchestrated RS3 music and this song was no exception. Even though the RS3 version of the song is a different arrangement than the original, it brought back so many memories! I thought this song would be a perfect song for me to cover at this time because I had to take my electric guitar and bass in to get their intonation fixed. This is definitely one of those nostalgic songs that make me think back to the amazing early days of Runescape. I'm sorry if the sound quality of this cover isn't the best, I've just started to attempt to learn the ropes of mixing and mastering, but I've still got millions of hours of learning and practicing to spend on it. This is my first time recording a song with these sounds so hopefully it didn't turn out too bad. I'm hoping to become less of a mixing and mastering noob with every cover I upload.
