Smee discovers Slightly hiding Arthur's incapacitated body in his room, and the latter convinces him to help take Arthur to the beach to deliver it to Morrow. As security re-contains the flies and cleans the lab, Wendy is disgusted by the company trying to dismiss Tootles' death as an accident, and convinces Nibs to join her and Joe in escaping the island. On her way out, Wendy hacks into the system to release the grown Xenomorph in the lab as a distraction, which rampages and escapes into the forest. Kirsh finds Slightly and Smee carrying Arthur's body, but actually helps them take a faster route to the beach. In the outskirts, Arthur regains consciousness and the facehugger dies. He begins to remember the events and convinces them to return, but a newborn Xenomorph bursts from his chest and escapes. The hybrids take the corpse to the beach, where a Yutani raid team led by Morrow approaches them. Seeing they failed to bring him the newborn, Morrow takes them captive. After Kirsh shows him the Ocellus caused the lab accident, Kavalier talks with the creature. Fascinated, he decides to give it a human host in order to properly communicate with it, and declares he knows the perfect candidate. On the outskirts, Wendy, Joe, and Nibs are held at gunpoint by Yutani forces, but Wendy uses her communication skills to have the grown Xenomorph kill them. She comforts it, and the creature spares them. Morrow and his troop enter the facility, but they are intercepted by Kirsh, who has captured the newborn Xenomorph and takes them captive. Wendy, Joe, and Nibs reach the boat, but they are intercepted by Neverland enforcement. Nibs grows frustrated and brutally kills a soldier, prompting Joe to incapacitate her. A shocked Wendy scolds Joe's actions, as the Xenomorph watches in the distance. #alienearthfx #alienearthALIEN EARTH: Episode 7 Discussion EmergenceRoad to Tar Valon2025-09-17 | Back again with Laura to talk about Alien Earth. 💬 Check out my other channel here: youtube.com/@Atlas_Elsewhere 🚀 Support the channel via Patreon or YouTube memberships.

Prime did. iwot's quote stated "We all fought hard to bring the show back for Season 4, but Sony's decision stands" which I took to mean that it was Sony's decision to pull the plug. They have since clarified everything.
In The Wheel of Time, a humble farm boy, Rand al’Thor, learns he is The Dragon Reborn—a dangerous figure from history destined to save the world … or break it. The Wheel of Time turns, and the Last Battle approaches. After defeating Ishamael, one of the most powerful of the Forsaken, at the end of Season Two, Rand reunites with his friends in the city of Falme and is declared the Dragon Reborn. But in Season Three, the threats against the Light are multiplying: the White Tower stands divided, the Black Ajah run free, old enemies return to the Two Rivers, and the remaining Forsaken are in hot pursuit of the Dragon… including Lanfear, whose relationship with Rand will mark a crucial choice between Light and Dark for them both. As the ties to his past begin to unravel, and his corrupted power grows stronger, Rand becomes increasingly unrecognizable to his closest allies, Moiraine and Egwene. These powerful women, who started the series as teacher and student, must now work together to prevent the Dragon from turning to the Dark…no matter the cost. The Wheel of Time series on Prime Video has solidified its place as a monumental success for the platform. Based on Robert Jordan's beloved and epic fantasy book series, the show weaves a tale of magic, destiny, and adventure that has captured the imagination of fans worldwide. As the Xenomorph evolves, Wendy tries to communicate with it while Nibs undergoes testing, prompting Atom Eins to demand her reset—Arthur refuses and is fired under threat of execution, while Dame reluctantly accepts. Kavalier negotiates with Yutani over alien cargo ownership, securing billions in damages but delaying its return due to quarantine. Meanwhile, Tootles is killed by acid-spitting flies after a mishap in the lab, and Wendy, disturbed by Nibs’ behavior, learns she was reprogrammed. Morrow seeks help to expose a human to an alien egg, but Joe declines due to reassignment. Before leaving, Arthur disables Wendy’s tracker and gives Joe a boat code to help them escape. Later, Slightly betrays Arthur, locking him with a facehugger that impregnates him, while Kirsh watches silently. Slightly hides the body as chaos brews in the lab. #alienearthfx #alienearthWheel of Time Show Dead - iwot: “Trust Us Bro”Road to Tar Valon2025-09-06 | Big Wheel of Time news just dropped, and it’s a mix of good and bad depending on your perspective. Wendy wakes up and is being tested about her ability to hear the Xenomorph eggs and even develops the skill to express the "language" of the Xenomorphs into a human-audible frequency. Kirsh and Tootles test one of the specimens on a sheep, which seems to cause a sharp rise in brain activity, implying a level of intelligence in the creature. Slightly further talks to Morrow and offers up his real name to him, as a show of good faith. Morrow convinces Slightly to steal back the Xenomorph eggs to return to Weyland-Yutani. Nibs talks to Dame Sylvia and talks about how she thinks she is pregnant and when Dame tries to say otherwise, Nibs becomes volatile and is eventually put under house arrest, unbeknownst to her. Hermit, having become jaded after seeing how Wendy is treated as more a tool than a person, attempts to quit and leave his position, only for Atom Eins to confront him with the realization that quitting would slap him with a large bill for his lung surgery as well as ensuring that he would never see Wendy again. Slightly attempts to reach the eggs and fails. When contacting Morrow, Morrow reveals that he used Slightly's real name to track down his family and threatens them to force Slightly to comply with him. He then directs Slightly to find a human and take them to the eggs, in order to have them be infected by a facehugger. Later at night, Wendy observes the lung, infected with the Xenomorph larva, which bursts, revealing a baby Xenomorph, which she proves able to calm down and placate, thanks to her ability to speak their language. #alienearthfx #alienearthALIEN EARTH: Episode 4 Discussion ObservationRoad to Tar Valon2025-08-27 | Back again with Laura to talk about Alien Earth. 💬 Check out my other channel here: youtube.com/@Atlas_Elsewhere 🚀 Support the channel via Patreon or YouTube memberships.

Development for the series was reported to have begun in early 2019, with Ridley Scott attached to executive produce for FX on Hulu. In 2120, five companies control Earth and the colonized Solar System, including the recently founded Prodigy Corporation. The USCSS Maginot , a Weyland-Yutani C-class deep space research vessel, approaches Earth after a 65-year expedition to obtain extra-terrestrial specimens, among them facehuggers. On Earth, at Prodigy's Neverland research island, a terminally ill child named Marcy Hermit becomes the first hybrid, having her consciousness transferred to an adult synthetic, and renames herself Wendy. Adjusting to her new body with the assistance of synthetic mentor Kirsh, Wendy oversees several other children who undergo the procedure. A malfunction compromises the Maginot's navigation, placing it on a collision course with Earth. Some specimens get loose, and a grown Xenomorph kills most of the crew. It crashes into a tower in Prodigy City, New Siam, where Wendy's human brother Joe Hermit works as a medic and corporate soldier. CEO Boy Kavalier asserts the Maginot's contents now belong to Prodigy, and deploys Kirsh, Wendy, and the other hybrids to assist with search and rescue to test their enhanced capabilities. Security officer Morrow, who survived the crash in a reinforced panic room, moves to protect the cargo and detains two Prodigy soldiers, who are killed by a leech-like specimen. Wendy remarks to Kirsh that she wants to save her brother from death. Kavalier tells his colleague, Dame Sylvia, that he formed the Hybrid project to compete with artificial intelligence, and has granted Wendy additional abilities as he wishes to create a person smarter than him. He declines Weyland-Yutani's request to secure the Maginot's proprietary contents, warning any incursion on his territory will be considered a hostile act. Hermit is chased by a Xenomorph and separated from his colleagues. It tracks him to the higher floors of the tower, killing another soldier and massacring an apartment of wealthy residents who refused to evacuate. He is saved by Morrow, who tasers him and the Xenomorph, but it regains consciousness and escapes after killing numerous other soldiers, sparing Morrow. Arriving in Prodigy City, Hybrids Tootles, Smee, Nibs, and Curly encounter two other dangerous extraterrestrial specimens. Wendy locates her brother with Slightly, a fellow Hybrid, but he doesn't recognize her. Slightly reveals her true identity to a shocked Hermit who believed Wendy/Marcy to have died. The three encounter several Xenomorph eggs and are ordered by Kirsh to contain them until a HazMat team arrives. Hermit is dragged away by the Xenomorph, and Wendy chases after.

On the Maginot, Nibs asks Curly why the hybrids were all named after Peter Pan characters, and why Marcy gets to be Wendy. Boy Kavalier orders Kirsh to collect the creatures and bring them back to the island for study, despite objections from Kirsh and Dame Sylvia. Morrow finds Smee and Slightly guarding the Xenomorph eggs and interrogates them, suspicious of their childlike behavior. He flees shortly after Kirsh arrives when an egg begins to open. Meanwhile, Wendy finds Hermit captured by a Xenomorph. Wendy kills the Xenomorph by decapitating it, but both Wendy and Hermit are seriously injured in the struggle. They all return to the island, where Hermit undergoes surgery and Dame and Arthur Sylvia tend to an unconscious Wendy. Boy Kavalier inspects the creatures until Kirsh removes him when he gets too close to a Xenomorph egg. Later, Atom Eins questions Smee and Slightly about their encounter with Morrow while Boy Kavalier secretly observes them. Somewhere in New Siam, Morrow calls Yutani. She orders him to return home, but he refuses and insists on retrieving the creatures himself. Back on the island, Curly asks Boy Kavalier to explain why Wendy is his favorite of the hybrids, and Curly insists that she is the best. Morrow contacts Slightly by unknown means, frightening him, but Morrow convinces Slightly to be his friend. While Kirsh, Tootles, and Curly dissect a facehugger and introduce its larvae to Joe’s lung that is removed during surgery, Wendy awakes hearing loud trilling noises that cause her pain. Wendy sets out to find the source, ending up at the room holding the Xenomorph eggs before collapsing on the floor. #alienearthALIEN EARTH: Episode 1 & 2 DiscussionRoad to Tar Valon2025-08-17 | Back again with Laura to talk about Alien Earth. 💬 Find my discord server in my links. 🚀 Support the channel via Patreon or YouTube memberships.

In this video, we're breaking down the casting announcements, speculating on which book characters they might be playing, and unpacking what this could mean for the future of the series.
Will we see some major moments from The Dark Forest? Are these new names hiding familiar roles from the novels? And what clues might the creative team be dropping for hardcore sci-fi fans?
3 Body Problem is an American science fiction television series created by David Benioff, D. B. Weiss and Alexander Woo. The third streaming adaptation of the Chinese novel series Remembrance of Earth's Past by former computer engineer Liu Cixin, its name comes from its first volume, The Three-Body Problem, named after a classical physics problem dealing with Newton's laws of motion and gravitation. The eight-episode first season was released on Netflix on March 21, 2024.
The series follows a diverse cast of characters, primarily scientists, who all come into contact with an extraterrestrial civilization, leading to various threats and humanity-wide changes. While the two previous series adaptations, the animated The Three-Body Problem in Minecraft (2014–2020) and the live-action Three-Body (2023), were exclusively in the novels' original Mandarin, 3 Body Problem is mostly in English and modifies part of the original works' Chinese setting to include foreign characters and locations, mainly the United Kingdom.
Benioff and Weiss' first television project since the conclusion of their series Game of Thrones (2011–2019), it received positive reviews, with praise towards its cast, ambition and production values. The series received six Primetime Emmy Award nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series. In May 2024, it was renewed for both second and third seasons. Ye Wenjie, a Chinese astrophysicist, runs into trouble with the authorities after witnessing her father's death during a struggle session in the Cultural Revolution. Due to her scientific background, she is sent to a secret military base racing against other countries to make first contact with aliens during the Cold War. While there, she makes a choice that impacts humanity's future. In present-day London, a series of mysterious suicides and science-averse phenomena lead a government investigator and a group of friends called the "Oxford Five" into a mystery of extraterrestrial origin.

A security android known as a SecUnit has been protecting miners on Aratake Station, secretly hacking its own code to disable its obedience module and gain autonomy, thus becoming “Murderbot.” Despite its newfound freedom, Murderbot stays with the Company, begrudgingly assigned to help a group of idealistic scientists from the Preservation Alliance. As a giant sandworm attacks their mining site, Murderbot steps up, rescues the team, and even shows its face to comfort a traumatized human, breaking protocol. This act raises suspicions about its behavior, but the team chooses not to report it, fearing corporate retaliation and recognizing they need its protection.

And That’s a Mistake | The Wheel of Time PodcastRoad to Tar Valon2025-05-13 | Back again, where Amber (book reader) and Laura (NEW book reader) discuss The Wheel of Time. Starting today with New Spring. "New Spring" was originally published as a novella in the speculative fiction anthology edited by Robert Silverberg entitled Legends. Twenty years before the beginning of the series Gitara Moroso, the Keeper of the Chronicles, foretells that the Dragon has been reborn. Moiraine, Siuan and the Amyrlin Seat Tamra Ospenya are the only people to witness it. Tamra decides to give a bounty to every woman who gave birth in the camps around Tar Valon during the last week to get a list of babies who could possibly be the Dragon Reborn. Initially, Moiraine and Siuan go with the other Accepted to record names of candidates for the bounty, but the following day are told to spend their time copying some of the less-legible lists, which gives them the opportunity to create their own list of babies who could be the Dragon Reborn.
