The tiny DJI Osmo Pocket uses the same type of camera and gimbal arrangement as is featured in their RPVs (drones).Mother and child, Pilot Hill, Yamba.Ken Newell2021-11-09 | Mother 'roo and her adolescent offspring snacking just outside the TLCFM 100.3 radio station in Yamba. Trying to walk along here, even in dry weather, is an occupational hazard; tree roots create tripping points, when it rains it becomes muddy and people are forced to take the risk of walking on the edge of the road....which is a hazard in itself. One man in a mobility scooter was hit and ended up in hospital with severe injuries. So how about it, CVC? A small fortune has been spent (by the NSW government) on three roundabouts along Yamba Road......roundabouts which were not required and in locations where traffic control in busy periods would have been better handled by traffic lights. This footpath IS required and IS wanted. Get your act together! The CommuteKen Newell2018-10-06 | Every employee has to commute to their job, whether it be merely from their bedroom to the home office, or by car, train, boat or plane to a location away from home. This man, at the end of his drive to the worksite, still has some distance to go.....straight up. I could never do this job. Although I worked in the lift (elevator) industry for nearly 30 years, lift shafts are surrounded (in most cases) by solid walls.....thus keeping my agoraphobia at bay. I take my hat off to this bloke......and all his fellow crane-drivers.

Because the User Manual does not provide a clear explanation I had some difficulty in trying to figure out the procedure for creating and saving more than one Registration. A combination of some third-party guidelines and experimentation finally led me out of the darkness.
The methodology is NOT intuitive; it is a cumbersome step-by-several-steps system, no doubt constrained by the capabilities of the on-board computer. After a couple of attempts and experimentation I became used to it and thought that others may benefit from what I was able to learn.
I hope that this short (less than 10 minutes) video will be of use to you.Sheb Wooley - Little Bitty Bilbo Abernathy Nathan Allen Quincy Jones (1963)Ken Newell2018-06-05 | The 'A' side of a 45 recorded in 1963 by Sheb Wooley, who is best known for "The Purple People Eater". Digitised using a Pro-ject RPM 1 turntable, the audio output to PC using VinylStudio software and then edited with Audacity to clean pops & clicks - of which there were very few. This is a surprisingly very clean piece of vinyl considering its age. Split over two days - the first to Port Macquarie (some 7+hours) and the second to Yamba (4 hours) in October 2015.Road Trip - Yamba to Canberra via Inland RouteKen Newell2015-10-25 | This video is in HD1080 and is approximately 26 minutes in length.
It covers highlights of the (approx) 1100 kilometre trip - which was made over two days and in beautiful Spring weather - from Yamba, on the far-north coast of NSW, to Canberra via the inland route - Grafton, Nymboida, Ebor, Armidale, Tamworth, Gilgandra, Coonabarabran, Dubbo, Cowra - and was undertaken in October 2015.
The highways were excellent - from the run near Ebor on Waterfall Way to to Armidale and then all the way through to Molong on the New England, Oxley, Newell and Mitchell Highways; very enjoyable, with good-quality roads and low traffic numbers. Between Coonabarabran and Dubbo the road has a 110 kph posted limit - the first I had come across on a non-divided highway.
This trip was a great experience and I will certainly use this route to travel to Sydney and/or Canberra again in preference to the Pacific Highway - at least until 2019, when the duplication between Port Macquarie and Ballina is completed.
I hope that you enjoy the video and, if you have never travelled these roads before, that you try them for yourselves. I am sure that you will not be disappointed. ==================== Technical stuff: The video was recorded on a Panasonic Lumix TZ40 mounted on a multi-angle bracket affixed to the inside of the windscreen of my Honda Jazz. Editing the clips and sewing it all together was done using Microsoft Movie Maker on a Windows 7 PC and music was added from my personal collection.Alfie - Dionne WarwickKen Newell2015-08-18 | From an early 1970s LP in which Dionne sings a selection of hits, here is "Alfie", the theme from the 1966 movie of the same name which starred Michael Caine in the title role.Alfie - Norman PercivalKen Newell2015-08-17 | From the 1970s Reader's Digest album, "Up, Up & Away", volume 2.Baby Elephant Walk - Les BrownKen Newell2015-08-17 | From the 1970s Reader's Digest album, "Up, Up & Away", volume 2.Everybodys Talking - Joe ReismanKen Newell2015-08-17 | From the 1970s Reader's Digest album, "Up, Up & Away", volume 2.Jean - Joe ReismanKen Newell2015-08-17 | From the 1970s Reader's Digest album, "Up, Up & Away", volume 2.Love Has A Way - Joe ReismanKen Newell2015-08-17 | From the 1970s Reader's Digest album, "Up, Up & Away", volume 2.Mrs Robinson - Joe ReismanKen Newell2015-08-17 | From the 1970s Reader's Digest album, "Up, Up & Away", volume 2.Romeo & Juliet - Benny GoodmanKen Newell2015-08-08 | From Volume 2 of the 1970s Reader's Digest "Up, Up & Away" album. The Windmills Of Your Mind - Perry Botkin Jr.Ken Newell2015-07-31 | From Volume 2 of the Reader's Digest album "Up, Up & Away".Thoroughly Modern Millie - Bob CrosbyKen Newell2015-07-31 | From Volume 2 of the Reader's Digest album "Up, Up & Away".
