Is the Osprey Exos Rucsack any good? 1000 mile review + honest verdict Long Suffering Hiker 2024-04-26 | After carrying the Osprey Exos rucsack for over 1000 miles I give my verdict! Is it any good? What are the benefits? What problems have I found? A warts-and-all honest review.If you want to know as much as possible about a rucsack, then there's no substitute for extended use. I share my thoughts after so much varied mileage.About the chest pods... I started with an OMM pod, but they are out of stock everywhere right now (April 2024). But anyway I got fed up with it; it only has one pocket, and it’s not waterproof! I even ended up making small grommet holes in the bottom because it kept filling up with water - not ideal when I was keeping my map and phone there!!So I’ve upgraded to one from Treadlite Gear: treadlitegear.co.uk/hill-and-high-street-chest-pack--multi-carry-bag-1192-p.asp It is made from DCF, waterproof, with 3 compartments. But I have changed the clips to ones that are easier to open and close. Similar ones are made by Wild Sky Gear, too: wildskygear.co.uk/chestpacks-13-c.asp
