Learning To Read And Write In A Different Languages Script Whats Good English 2023-12-20 | As a follow up to my video about resources for learning languages, this video deals specifically with how to learn to read and write in a language that uses a different script or alphabet than your own native language. I learned how to read and write in Mandarin Chinese when in college using a very simple yet tedious technique to develop the muscle memory to be able to reproduce characters, and more importantly, recognize them when reading. This same technique can be applied to any language that uses something that differs from the script/alphabet of your own native language. Ax Is A Valid Pronunciation Of Ask Whats Good English 2023-08-25 | Here we go with this Ask vs Ax thing again. All pronunciations, even the ones you don't like are valid. That's it. And that goes for more words than just "ask." There is no such thing as a common mispronunciation among a group of people. There are many valid reasons why groups of people pronounce words the way they do and those pronunciations need to be respected. The Way People Use The Word Woke Bothers Me Whats Good English 2023-04-10 | You probably expected a lesson on where the word woke comes from but instead you get history lesson on an extreme example of how things can be appropriated and have the worst possible result. Woke never meant any of the nonsense people are putting on it. Aryan was never meant to describe anyone outside of the people who practiced Hinduism, yet people didn't care about that fact.
