A Marvel Symphonic Montage STIGCRAFTER 2024-09-13 | It justifies the pretentious title I promiseSo this video was partially initially inspired by The Marvel Symphonic Universe by Every Frame a Painting*, and the many follow up videos posted around that time including HelloLillyTV’s video*. The idea was that Marvel scores weren’t very memorable because they weren’t particularly prominent in the movie or in trailers, and that inspired me to make videos using that music. I first did a montage of most of the films set to just the Avengers theme**, as sort of an Infinity War trailer. That then gave way to this much more expansive project, which was started probably around 2018?, and then tool until now to finish. I missed my initial goal of making it before Endgame, even in Sep 2019 I still hadn’t done Ant Man 2 or Captain Mavrel, and after Endgame I ended up putting the project away for a while, until this year when I decided to finally revive the project, replace all of the DVD and trailer footage*** with 4k Bluray rips, and finally edit Endgame. If you’re wondering why the Endgame editing is different, that 4 year gap is why.It’s not a perfect entry to the Marvel Symphonic Discourse as I use songs in like a third of the movies, but it is definitely a cathartic culmination of all the Marvel edits I’ve done over the years.
