The Grinch SFX Makeup Tutorial ellimacs sfx makeup 2017-12-21 | How the Grinch Stole ChristmasIn this episode we recreate the classic Jim Carrey version of the Grinch but as a bonus we add a little zombie touch to the whole thing. We were inspired by an Instagram post by get_zombd and decided it was time for a zombie grinch. The age old Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas is a classic around the Hollidays so to create the zombie grinch all you need is basically liquid latex, cotton and something to create your teeth with. We use Ellimorph plastic, but you can of course use acrylic nail tips as well. We’re using liquid latex paste to create the zombie jaw/mouth but if you like you can also build that with cotton and latex directly on your face. However it will take some time to dry. The look is otherwise fairly simple as there are only a few colours used. Green, green and more green. We hope you like this look as much as we do! What are your plans for 2018? GoT: White walker - The Night King Makeup Tutorial ellimacs sfx makeup 2017-12-11 | Winter is coming, for real in this makeup tutorial with pranks.In this episode we once again visit the world of Game of Thrones. This time we focus on creating the Night King with a very simple method. Basic latex and flour creates the latex paste mix and then you shape it with your fingers or tools. The horns can be created either with Ellimorph Plastic or by building them up using cotton and liquid latex. Cotton and latex is also used to create the ridges on the Night King nose.The Night King makeup tutorial is not super hard to recreate but it may take a little patience to get everything to look good. Colourwise it's all very simple with black, white, purple, blue and some details with turquoise metallic.
