Hello and welcome into the Piles of Paragraphs creative space—I’m Lori, and today we’re diving into the March prompt for the #GrungyTagChallenge2026: three of something!
It’s been one of those weeks (okay… months 😅), but we’re moving forward with some creative play using vintage paper, layered textures, and a whole lot of decision-making along the way. I start with a large tag and build a grungy base using torn papers and long strips, then (after a bit of overthinking!) settle on butterflies for my “three of something.” For the second tag, I lean more into those grungy vibes with textured edges and a trio of bugs—because why not mix it up a little?
