Greenpeace Camden group hold day of action against HSBC bank . In a recent Greenpeace report HSBC were exposed as funding the Salim group - part of a palm oil company linked to Indonesian forest destruction for palm oil . The Salim group, has borrowed millions of pounds from HSBC.
The forest destruction is beyond worrying - a quarter of Indonesia’s rainforest has already been destroyed in the last 25 years.
