Tortoise Raider - The 3D Gamemaker - Unfinished 2011 Game Shiros Game Room 2025-10-20 | Recently a friend of mine has shown me the power of (dg)Voodoo! And with it I've fixed a lot of my old games (more of those later!) To my delight it's also fixed a very old The 3D Gamemaker game I made in 2011 called "Tortoise Raider"! So here's a playthrough before Windows changes something and it stops working again.This version of Tortoise Raider is to my memory, not the final version. That big pink gem we collect after the dragon in Level 3 used to be the ending of the game. Whereas in this version it's about halfway through. Later on in life it got moved to the end of Level 5. I also know at a later date I made more levels involving a space station and finding the "Crystal Cabbage" but alas, that's all gone now. The scores sheet mentioned at the start was also updated later, as it's not very hard to get over 900 points and attain "True Tortoise" status in this version. Sadly all of this is lost on old computers and unlikely to be found. But at least I have this silly thing I kept.Thanks for reading/watching, this isn't what the channel usually gets. Dusty Duel - GTC Africa - Pontiac Firebird [Shiros Showroom] Shiros Game Room 2025-09-01 | I'll be honest, a Pontiac Firebird doesn't strike me as a competent rally car, but that's exactly why I like it's inclusion in this game! The Firebird is the last car you unlock in GTC Africa and whilst being a bit of a rally oddity, I think it's an intersting one to have. Straight Victory (Japan) - Grand Prix #1 [3 Tracks - 8 Laps - Calibra DTM] Shiros Game Room 2025-08-28 | This game has quickly became a bit of an obsession with me over the past few weeks. Straight Victory is a Japan only racing game seemingly focused on Calsonic and Nissan cars, but also has a bunch of DTM cars for opponents?... I'm not sure, but it has a banging soundtrack and plenty of cars and tracks to unlock, so lets get to it! You unlock cars and tracks by finishing Grand Prix runs and to keep things interesting, the first 2 GP's unlock 2 more tracks each, making GP's 3, 5, and 7 races long as you go on.This 1st GP is the default starter one if you like. 8 Lappers on the initial 3 Courses. And of course since this is Nissans Calsonic focused game, I had to pick... the DTM Calibra? I mean, its my colours at least...Needless to say this was a walk over, so I'll be bumping up the difficulty for the rest of these. That's right! I've planned out a whole route we're taking to unlock everything, so buckle up! I have not tested every single prototype, but here's what I have done:BRVE (13): 03 16-03-00, 04 05-04-00 and 04 13-04-00 tested, these have music (which isn't revolt music, possibly placeholder) and run races properly with functioning pick-ups and opponents.GSRACE (2): Both tested - Just run races, these are incredibly fast.ReVolt (18): 31-12-99 and 30-01-00 tested - these run the intro splash screens and menus, but crash upon entering any race.Issues I had are mainly to do with checkpoints, you'll notice me backtrack in supermarket and museum as checkpoint markers dont seem to extend as far as you'd expect (only one side of the split route in museum seemed to have one), cars also get stuck together very often and have to just jutter themselves free. Whats a Mugen Car? - Re-Volt - The Mugen Trials Shiros Game Room 2025-05-13 | Ever downloaded a bunch of cars, only to find some of them absolutely leave the competition in the dust despite being supposedly the same tier? You could have encountered a "MUGEN" car. A what? Well it's a term I made up recently, but in this video I hope to explain what these cars are, and begin a series of testing them all out to find out which one is the fastest! Supermarket Speedway - 70 Laps Supermarket 1 - RVGL Endurance Shiros Game Room 2025-04-30 | "Endurance" has a different meaning in Re-Volt, it's not about making tyres or fuel last the distance, it's enduring the constant bomabardment of weapons!Initially this race was setup mostly the same as The Toytanic 1 event with 7 Semis 8 Pros and me filling the remaining 8th Semi slot, but after testing I was way to far ahead of the pro class cars, despite only using a semi-pro. So I scaled things up and added 5 Super Pro's as well, and it was still a walkover! The Horrors... - Re-Volt RVGL - Cyber Succubus | Horror Doinky 2 [Shiros Spotlight] Shiros Game Room 2025-02-28 | The horrors persist... but so does Re-Volt!Todays car is an interesting beast, a demonic transformation of a once humble looking vehicle, now featuring horns, ramming spikes and a jet engine on the back! I've always thought the Re-Volt cars with animated parts were fun (the fire in this case), and the devious Horror Doinky course whilst more of an obstical course, worked quite well with the rocket powered Cyber Succubus.
