Is it ever OK to buy second hand speakers without hearing them first? Under certain circumstances you can find a good deal if you are very patient. Speakers that are "projects" such as outdoor speakers, in-wall speakers, and car stereos are often given away "new in the box" when the project is abandoned. Bluetooth speakers are cheap and ubiquitous, but some more unusual finds may appear online as well.
