Throughout history, African people and native cultures have often been misunderstood, feared, and marginalized by European societies. This video explores some of the complex metaphysical reasons why Africans were historically viewed as a threat by certain groups.
This so-called Thanksgiving, as we gather with family, we must remember the true history of violence and oppression that indigenous peoples have faced around the world. In America and abroad. Vatican-sponsored settlers and agents arrived, native tribes were seen as a dangerous threat—but why?
This video unveils the metaphysical realities behind the conquest and demonization of African and indigenous native cultures. We analyze how indigenous spirituality, mysticism, and connection with nature stirred deep fears in colonists. Practices like animism, shamanism, and vision quests represented the power of a belief system they sought to eradicate.
The gifts, magic, and earth-wisdom native tribes possessed provoked anxiety about the unknown among colonizers. Tragically, this led to the ruthless suppression of native knowledge and the destruction of many shamans and medicine women who were seen as threats.
On this Thanksgiving, may we honor the spiritual gifts of native tribes and work to heal ancestral wounds still felt today. Understanding the energies that fueled genocide against the original mystic clans will help us reconcile and bring justice. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

In February 2023, the military seized control of the government and ejected French forces from the country. Many predicted this would lead to chaos and economic collapse. But quite the opposite happened.
So how did they do it? This video analyzes how the new junta government enacted dramatic reforms: slashing bureaucratic red tape, attracting foreign investment, and utilizing the country's ample oil resources. By shaking off French neocolonial ties, Niger was free to access new streams of revenue.
Against the odds, a country once dependent on foreign aid is now a rising African success story. Niger's unprecedented growth shows how national sovereignty and self-determination can pay off economically. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Welcome! Why Black Africans Were Historically Viewed As A ThreatMelanin History2023-10-28 | Why Black Africans Were Historically Viewed As A Threat
In today's video, we explore the complex history behind the fear and threat that non-black people have felt towards black Africans over time. This pattern of prejudice has deep roots. In fact, black Africans were pioneers of ancient civilizations, building great cities of gold and advancing early human knowledge. Their prosperity stirred feelings of envy and inferiority in others. This inferiority complex led many non-blacks to wrongly perceive black Africans as a threat.
Multiple factors fed these exaggerated fears over time. Black Africans' physical strength and supposed genetic advantages made some worry they'd dominate if empowered. Negative stereotypes in media and education reinforced the flawed notion that black people were inferior. As a result, non-black societies worked to artificially suppress the power and potential of black populations.
But why did these faulty views persist? The truth lies in humanity's complicated history and black Africans' immense contributions to fields like science, medicine, philosophy, and more. Despite laying the foundations of civilization, black Africans faced persistent efforts to portray them as inferior and threatening. This misrepresentation was perpetuated through institutions long dominated by non-black perspectives.
Ultimately, an inaccurate narrative that belittled black people took hold globally. But today we have an opportunity to recognize the vast achievements of black Africans throughout history, and the greatness they can bring to our shared future.

Under his brutal regime, the Congolese suffered immensely. It's estimated that over 10 million Africans died due to Leopold's harsh policies like forced labor, physical punishment, and overworking natives to collect ivory and rubber.
Leopold cruelly exploited the Congolese and treated them as sub-human. His forces would often chop off the hands of men, women, and children if they didn't meet their rubber harvesting quotas. Entire villages were held hostage and people were killed over rubber quotas. Those who resisted were tortured, whipped, or executed.
The atrocities committed under Leopold's rule were exposed in the early 1900s, sparking an international outcry. Missionaries and activists shared reports, photographs, and first-hand accounts of the horrific abuses. Newspapers around the world reported on the issue, pressuring Leopold to make reforms.
In 1908, the Belgian government finally took control of the Congo away from Leopold. But the damage was already done. Leopold's reign in the Congo caused one of the worst genocides in modern history. His pursuit of money and power led to the exploitation, mutilation, and death of millions of innocent people.
The injustice and cruelty of King Leopold's regime in the Congo should never be forgotten. This dark chapter in history must be acknowledged so that such atrocities are not repeated. The Congolese people suffered greatly under his oppressive and brutal rule.

But concealed within Christianity's vaulted halls is a troubling history intertwined with one of humanity's greatest shames - the enslavement of fellow human beings.
In this eye-opening video, we will delve into the complex relationship between the Christian church and the institution of slavery throughout history. We'll examine how the faith ostensibly based on compassion could justify bondage for centuries, before a dramatic abolitionist awakening challenged entrenched injustice.
Learn about the Catholic Church's disturbing authorizing of slavery in papal bulls, and how even leading evangelical figures like George Whitefield shockingly advocated for slavery. We'll dive into the theological arguments employed to justify slavery, from distorted Biblical interpretations to the racist Curse of Ham.
Yet despite widespread complicity, prophetic voices also emerged like Quaker abolitionists and Methodist founder John Wesley to keep the light of conscience alive. By the 19th century, powerful abolitionist movements led by Christian activists arose to challenge slavery on moral and spiritual grounds.
This turbulant history raises profound questions about moral blindspots, conformity to power, and Christianity's capacity for reform. It represents a centuries-long struggle for the conscience of the church, and the soul of the gospel message.
Join us as we uncover this shocking history that institutional powers have obscured for so long. It's time to confront the painful legacy of Christianity's failure on slavery, and how reformers redeemed the faith as a force for justice. Understanding this complex past illuminates urgent lessons for people of faith today.

However, some argue that President Obama did not do enough to address issues impacting black Americans during his two terms in office.
In this video, we will analyze Obama's record on topics like mass incarceration, police brutality, unemployment, and the racial wealth gap. We will look at how the Obama administration expanded Bush-era education policies that disadvantaged poor black communities. We will also discuss how Obama failed to meaningfully address the War on Drugs and the militarization of police forces across America.
While the Affordable Care Act expanded healthcare coverage to millions of uninsured Americans, health disparities between white and black citizens persisted under Obama's presidency. The economic recovery after the 2008 recession also left many black households behind.
Some civil rights advocates argue that Obama was reluctant to explicitly tackle "black issues" for fear of being perceived as only caring about the black community. Others note that as president, Obama represented all Americans and faced significant partisan obstacles from Republicans in Congress throughout his tenure.
Whether due to pragmatism, political caution, or simply different priorities - many believe Obama missed a historic opportunity to aggressively target systemic racial inequality as the first black president. This video analyzes the complex legacy of how Obama's presidency impacted and disappointed many African Americans.

Born in South Africa, Sarah was taken from her home in 1810 and brought to Europe where she was cruelly exhibited as a sideshow attraction.
Promoters paraded her almost nude body in front of audiences who would pay to gawk at her large buttocks and genitalia. Labeled the "Hottentot Venus," Sarah was treated as an object for entertainment and spectacle. Her humanity was denied as she was caged, abused, and subjected to dehumanizing medical examinations.
After her death in 1815 at the age of 26, Sarah's body continued to be unethically displayed and examined even after death. Her remains were finally repatriated to her homeland in 2002.
Sarah's story exemplifies the atrocities committed under colonialism and slavery. As a Khoikhoi woman, she belonged to a people who had faced oppression and displacement when the Dutch colonized southern Africa. As a Black African woman, she was seen as racially inferior and treated without dignity or rights.
Shining a light on Sarah Baartman's tragedy is vital to exposing the injustices of the past. We must confront this insensitive history and its legacies that still impact marginalized communities today. Only through education, remembrance, and a commitment to equality can we prevent such exploitation from ever happening again.
