BFFS - THE SECRET DITCH Frenchfred 2016-10-05 | This spot was around Lyon. It was meant to collect the kerosene spills from the nearby airport. So what you see in there is not just water. It did smells very bad. I think at some point we thought about throwing a match in there, but we figured out it would have been a very very bad idea. SO we focused on skateboarding.

BFFS - FLIP TEAM VISITING TOM PENNY Frenchfred 2016-10-04 | In 1999 the Flip team gathered to go visit Tom Penny at his house in the french countryside where he was living at the time with his mom. The mini ramp in the barn had been built couple years before by Geoff Rowley and Rune Glifberg, so Tom could keep on skating while in the middle of nowhere with no street spots to skate. As you can see in this raw edit, this was the very first time Bastien Salabanzi came on a Flip trip, and here you can see him meeting Rowley and Boulala for the first time. You can aslo notice US skateboarder Eric Brockman, but that trip was not fun at all for him, being the only US dude...adding to that the pressure on being on such an intense team of heavy rippers, it was too much for him to handle and he quit Flip soon after that mission in France.

THE BOULALA 25 STAIRS Frenchfred 2016-01-29 | Alright let’s watch this one more time before the Jaws video drops sometime soon. Ali strongly paved the way for this set of stairs to be ollied. Everytime I’ve filmed a session there, it was incredibly intense and stresful! I once spotted american BMXers checking it out, and I believe they just thought it was absolutely too massive. Big up to Ali, Big up to Jaws. You have no idea of how crazy it is until you go there. Funny enough, it’s in my neighbourhood!

LEICA SL - SKATEBOARDING LANDSCAPES Frenchfred 2015-12-01 | I was commissionned by Leica to shoot pictures with their new SL camera system in the summer of 2015. I decided to go shoot in Los Angeles with the Element team. The focus was on photography, so i din't shoot much video with the SL, and there was no plan to make such short video. But after reviewing the footage, I had to do a little something with it. Originally I wanted to turn into b&w all of the clips, but the nice colors recorded by the camera didn't push me into that direction. LUY PA SIN 1997 SPONSOR ME TAPE Frenchfred 2015-09-24 | Old footage of the all time classic french ripper Luy Pa sin! I always loved filming with him, because as you can see, his style as always been epic, on top of being a very good technical skateboarder... He is such a legend, always underrated to my opinion. This is a weird kind of Sponsor Me Tape...we didn't film for it, it's just a compilation of random footage I had of Luy Pa... and I went experimental on the editing and the music... it was the beginning of editing with a computer... But so, long time before making "Menikmati", I started filming for ÉS with Luy Pa and Stéphane Larance, as the brand wanted to start compiling footage of all it's international riders... Some really cool footage got lost forever after we sent it to the USA... The quality is a little weird... it's all shot on Hi8, but the computer I used wasn't working full resolution, so that explains that! Enjoy anyway, Luy Pa 's style is killer!!!
