We tackle all of his appearances, from platformers to RPG's to spin-offs to adaptations, and see how his hundreds of appearances have contributed to the aura of one of gaming's most truly iconic characters, as well as put forth an argument for how that ends up making him the greatest villain the medium's ever had.
